Allow up to five separate overviews to be open at the same time and include filter in each window. When overviews are stacked as is currently the only option, place the filter as you've mocked up.
Great idea btw.

A configurable radial menu would be nice. Many have already complained that, to them, the placement of the buttons isn't easily understandable.
Why not allow players to configure more of their day to day interactions? If you're driven to threaten others with harm or violence because of what they do in game, you can't separate fantasy from reality. That "griefer/thief" is probably more sane than you are. How screwed up is that? |

I like this idea in principle, but only if I were GUARUNTEED no additional overview lag. With the track record of CCP as far as lag in new features, I don't think this is a good idea.

I am a bit sad because I have just discovered that my ideas are not in the list of the 1363 suggestions submitted by players in CSM8's "Reasonable Things" crowdsourcing initiative and of course not in the list of 99 reasonable things that now need to be voted.
I guess I should have discovered this thread earlier..
"99. Every list in the game should have a filter box." seems to match (in a way) some of the ideas of this thread but what about the Smart Filters ?
I thought contacting a CSM member months ago was enough to promote my ideas during the CSM meetings, it seems I was wrong.

Well, once more, it seems we won't see these UI changes (for the Overview at least) in the upcoming expansion.

Not a big fan of the configurable buttons, seeing as we already have right click, radial menu and hotkeys, but otherwise, good list of changes to the overview.
