GBFC has been around for a while, but has only recently opened its doors to recruits. We're looking to take the corporation from its current three to between ten and fifteen pilots.
We're based in Matari space, in and around Balginia, where we've been working for agents of the Brutor Tribe, at all levels, and doing the odd spot of mining, manufacturing and such like. We've currently got members in both EU and US timezones, so pilots outside those timezones might find it a bit quiet until we've grown some more.
We're all geared up to provide newer pilots with lots of help and assistance, from free ships, modules and ammunition through to help and advice or refining and manufacturing services from "perfect" refiners and manufacturers. We have an orca, which will be available for mining operations once we have enough miners to make it worthwhile.
Our main short-term goals are fairly simple - build the corporation up to a reasonable size, get everyone kitted out with decent missioning ships, agent access, skill training plans and such like. Longer term, I aim to have one or more starbases for research and invention, which may also serve as mining outposts in one of the nearby stationless systems with lots of rocky belts.
Recruitment will be open for a couple of weeks, after which we'll spend some time getting everyone settled in before accepting new members again.

Right now, I think we're up to four or five. I'm aiming to get up to 10-15 in this round of recruitment, then let things settle down before doing the next round.
Long-term goals are still very fluid. Right now, I'm focusing on getting some people in, making sure we're all making money and having fun, getting agent access, building standings, runnign mining operations, that sort of thing.
Medium term, we'll probably get into some PI, go for a high-sec POS and start cranking out invention.
Long term, who knows? Get enough people and we could move to null-sec or a wormhole and make some serious fun, probably while having a ton of ISK in the process... depends what people are up for, I guess.

Hmmm, had to kick one of them out last night.
Pilot called herself Nynjat, I guess the name should have been the first clue. Employment history would have been the second clue, if I'd bothered to check it. Third clue was middle of a mission, when nynjat locked, webbed and shot at me with neutral RR support...
Failed to get a point on, though, so my marauder slipped through her fingers. Went back out in a typhoon I didn't mind losing, just to prove to myself that ass-hattery was afoot. It was.
New applicants please be prepared to talk about you employment history.
