Edited by: Test Build on 20/05/2011 08:48:59 Seriously, it's an excellent change, kudos to you CCP.
I read the patch notes wrong or read one thing and registered another but I thought D-Scan was going to 64au rather than Onboard scanner, when I didn't get a 64au D-scan I cried.
Since finding anoms is now infinitely easier, and as a result the people running them. I propose that D-Scan be moved out to 64au as well.

Edited by: Lady Go Diveher on 20/05/2011 13:34:53 If DSCAN range was 64AU's, carebears would be impervious. If DSCAN range was 0AU's, PVP'ers would have it far far too easy.
As it is now, is a good balance.
As for the alt click thing .... thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you

In what interpretation of the english language does onboard scanner sound like directional scanner?

ignoring for a moment that it is written, and thus read not heard, it's the version of english in which terms that have similar elements, like the word scanner, are sometimes skimmed and thus confused because of a lack of precision by casual game players who don't read dev blogs like they were preparing for a test the next day. You really need to calm yourself. Why did you even bother to respond? |

Shouldn't you be trying to debug a script or something?

If DSCAN range was 64AU's, alert carebears would be impervious. If DSCAN range was 0AU's, PVP'ers would have it far far too easy.
As it is now, the balance is skewed towards pvp.
Fixed it for you.
I very much doubt it will happen as the cry from the pvpers/pirates would be deafening, but all the improvements in scanning have made it far too easy to scan someone down in seconds.
