1. Rate the graphics performance (framerate, UI lag, etc) (1-5 scale) 5, but i buyed myself a better computer only weeks ago.
2. Rate the overall performance (1-5 scale) 4, the camera is a bit tricky sometimes
3. General feedback One thing i really am missing isthe option to further zoom in, i would love not only to look over the shoulder of my charackter but to look trhough his eyes. A first person view would be awesome

Framerate=4 (30-45+ fps). No probs on highest settings on my NVidia 460 GTX. UI=3 : A bit "tricky" with the camera, it somtimes "zooms in" extremely when you rotate camera around toon when close to walls etc. Using context menues sabotages the "immersion" imho! Lag=5. No lag! Total=4
Quote: 2. Rate the overall performance

Quote: 3. General feedback
The ships are waaaaaay down the drain! You can hardly see them unless you zoom out from your toon.
The way the ships "materialize" does not add to the "immersion effect". The technology behind one ship just disappearing in front of your eyes, and another materializing just as suddenly leaves you in utter awe! Something for Joe Labero (a RL magician who makes RL airplanes disappear etc.) Srsl CCP, the ships should be "floating" into position or elevated up through the "floor" or something if you are looking for immersion effect with walking-in-stations/CQ!
I tried the UI for the character recreator in the "Mirror". After that a strange red blinking volume appeared in the exit to the balcony. It seemed to me to be a lighting mask or similar? Could not recreate the error and have no logs unfortunately.
Other things to improve are the ambient sounds and the music. That ol' EVE-soundtrack is worn out by now ;-)
In all, I'd say you have come somewhat along the road to completion since last pre-release, but you still have a LOT of work ahead of you to get this in a releasable state! Keep up the good work CCP!

I think that graphics are at 4. Performance is at 4.
Overall impression is at 2. Minmatar CQ is too dark, barely any light sources. I had 20-30 FPS most of the time, outside the station I get 60 FPS. It doesn't feel right. Camera is uneasy. View point is somewhere behind character's back, some strange angle. Half the time I don't see what's ahead other than characters chest/back.
If you want to learn 3rd person camera try Hitman Codename 47 - the camera does the right things there.

FPS: 38 avg UI: Slow to load station environment, Character Creator is slow to load. Menus respond fairly quickly.
Over all pretty nice, though it looks a bit pixelated. Some lighting effects don't seem right and the main screen's gfx is a random mix of a few UI screens.

The room feels a bit empty and seems to lack anything to do in the room that can't already be done in the Station UI. Looking forward to future updates.

That card should run Battlefield Bad Company 2 at that framerate (@ 1920x1200, 4AA, 8AF, High Quality, DX10).
People really need to get some perspective before doing their ratings. On a scale of 1-5 that's a solid 1 for the kind of environment and graphics settings available. ...

All my tech issues have been mentioned already (floating red eyes, lips and neck).
3. Gameplay. What happened to the Pod exit room? That gantry on the left of the balcony suggests I have to walk down to my ship. The pod should perhaps be sitting on a receptacle there.

2. Rate the overall performance (3 out of 5)
3. General feedback Frame rate has improved a bit as I didn't notice any drop in FPS when transitioning from the CQ to the walkway. The user interface should be a little less cumbersome. It feels like the UI is in the way when I try to interact with the environment. Also, what's up with the grainy picture? The environment has improved considerably such as lighting and the mirror and I like how my avatar is no longer stuck between the desk and sofa, but the image looks a bit grainy. I guess it will be fixed anyways before Incarna is released. After all, this is still a test version.
Oh, and one more thing. My character got stuck trying to undock from the station to complete a mission. I logged out and back in but it's still stuck. Please rectify this.
EDIT: My alt (Supercon) is the one that is stuck. Just so you know.

1. Rate the graphics performance (framerate, UI lag, etc) (1-5 scale) 1 - even with everything set to low, only getting 4fps, which is not much better than when set to medium.
2. Rate the overall performance (1-5 scale) 1 - takes far too long to load - both the game at start-up, and then loading CQ - which takes several minutes. Once loaded is extremely sluggish.
3. General feedback At the medium settings lighting levels are no better than in previous test - far too dark to see anything. Switching to low it is a lot better, but still a lot darker than the screen shots others are posting. The low frame rate makes it just about impossible as a living environment. Really needs an option to stay in ship when docked, otherwise I can see many new players giving up and not giving the game a chance.

I'm buying a Macbook Air 13" next month. I'll make sure I order it with 4Gb and with enough hard disk space (ok flash ram space) for Windows 7 to be installed, on which will go two installs of EVE (one for each account).
My question to those trialling Incarna is... has anyone tested it on the current or recent MacBook Airs? (the ones with the NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics processor). Is it enough to run the game in a satisfactory manner? I would probably run it with the graphics turned down and with a fan management program running to keep the machine cool.

1. Rate the graphics performance (framerate, UI lag, etc) (1-5 scale) Well, 1 to 2.5, depending on machine type. Laptop vs desktop.
2. Rate the overall performance. (1-5 scale) Again, 1 to 2.5, depending on machine type. Laptop vs desktop.
3. General feedback. There's something either wierd or disturbing with the GPU programming. It should not make such a difference whether it is running off a desktop GPU or a mobility GPU of the same series and type. Had a few runs at pretty decent setups, but that is worrying (especially since so many folks run EVE on notebooks). Even with alternating detail settings the differences in graphics and overall performance remain.
It's nice to see touches to make the quarters look more human, but there should be choices in that. I'd never leave my quarters a mess

1. Rate the graphics performance (framerate, UI lag, etc) (1-5 scale) 1 Even using all settings on Low, having everything the lowest it can go (no shadows no hdr etc). Everything is black, loading takes minutes, everything stutters. Framerate, between 1 and 3 FPS
2. Rate the overall performance (1-5 scale) 1 Utterly unplayable. On TQ I get about 60 FPS in every situation, except some Supercap blob zoomed in, yet on Duality in station it hovers between 1 and 3 FPS. Moving your avatar (that doesn't show, model is missing or something) is impossible, not only can't you see anything, but due to the low FPS you keep stuttering in some general direction you clicked or walked, making it impossible to go were you want to go.
3. General feedback
General system Specs:
CPU: Amd Athlon 64 3500+ GPU: Nvidia GeForce 6800GS RAM: 1GB
If this goes to Launch, without option to turn it off, Low spec users have to unsub, or not dock anymore since the game inside stations isn't playable, while in space I somehow manage to get 60+ FPS. On a different note, my avatar model didn't show.
Worst. feature. ever.

i wish they would put a console in the hanger, or the quarters that would allow you see who, and whats going on out side the station. ive lost alot of ships and pods by a group of pirates tanking the turrets waiting for some one to exit the station. something like the overview that would tell you who is outside and if they're aggressive (yellow) or wanted (red), as well as if any pod killing has happened within the last hour. and if this is too much to ask then at the very least the use of the dscanner in the hanger.
Please?

Define "satisfactory"à
It runs the game, and you can fly around, and even use the character designer at a decent pace if you pull the quality down. It does heat up, but it seems to survive (much better than the 1st-gen Airs, which were iffy beyond a 10-minute dash to update skills and market orders). All of this under OSX, though ù no idea how it will do with Win7 installed. Also, no idea how it will handle Incarna since we haven't been able to test it yet, but it should work if the chargen is any indication.
I'd stay away from anything that requires performance, be it combat or missions, but beyond that, it will survive. ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

Best of luck. I predict many a late night, a still unfinished implementation upon release and LOADS of angry customers!
Issues: Framerate, Grain, Undocking, Hair, Ramps, UI, skin, only one of four races implemented, ridiculous autopathing, WASD seemingly do nothing, camera is centred two feet to the left regardless of options, takes around a minute to load... And that was only from ****ing around for a few minutes!
No wonder you didn't try and implement the full station release from the get go ahaha

Can anyone help?àAnd no, switching to windows won't solve my problem, nor will it ever happen.
