Got to playing with the MarketOrders API and ran into something I can't seem to find an answer to: It seems to only be accessing orders dating from 2009 and 2010. Digging through the forums and EVE-Dev, I couldn't find any additional parameters (i.e. BeforeRefID) to tell it to get the most current market orders.
Anyone have the answer?

Edited by: EveDataRules on 22/05/2011 17:32:46 Curious, it sounds like you may be hitting a hard limit.
I just checked; mine also shows orders back to 2009 but does show 2011 also. It does seam a bit wasteful to be requesting all these results when we don't need them.
Perhaps CCP can add a parameter so we can pull only orders with a specific orderState or since a given date. EVEData |

Agreed. I wish mine went to the most current.

You missed nothing. There's no parameter to this API and it does return all market orders (from the day on the API was implemented?).
I too wish that there would be some parameters for this API to limit the number of records returned, like date range and/or order state. -- EVEWalletAware - an offline wallet manager |

I seem to be hitting the same wall. I can only access my 2009 / 2010 market orders. All my orders for 2011 are not listed, (including my curently active orders). Also, I couldn't find anything related in the patch notes on the API, but this bug is somewhat annoying...

I've been digging too and trying different things. So far, no luck. EVETycoon Marketing, trading and reprocessing tool. |

Apparently the guys at EVEMon have figured it out though. It's grabbing current orders. EVETycoon Marketing, trading and reprocessing tool. |

Just a random thought: Did you issue your market orders for your corp?
Happend to me once that I couldn't find one particular order via API and than found it in the corp/MarketOrders.xml

Pretty sure I used character. I just copied and pasted API login and character ID into a browser. Even waited for the cache to expire and got the same results back. EVETycoon Marketing, trading and reprocessing tool. |

Did you issued your MARKET ORDERS IN GAME for a corp?... THAT was the question, not about API keys. -- Thanks CCP for cu |

Ah, that I did and probably have for years now. I'll check that avenue, thanks. EVETycoon Marketing, trading and reprocessing tool. |
