Hi! Sometime ago (yeah, years) I set to have some projects in R&D, today, in an effort to reap the results I've discovered that the agents whom I have more than 10000 RP don't want even to talk to me.
My standings are as follows (taking skills into account):
To the agent 0.00
To the corp 6.81
To the faction -2.1
What keeps me more intrigued is the fact that in agents descrtion is written:
Your personal standings must be -2.0 or higher toward this agent, its faction, or its corporation in order to use this agent's services.
Can someone explain this to me?

'OR' should really be 'AND', all 3 have to be over -2.0

Replace "or" with "and".
The problem is that they're reusing the same string to display both the upper and lower bounds for standings, even though the lower bound is exclusive and the other is inclusive.

Never mind what the description says. In reality, if your standings to any one of the three is below -2.0 adjusted, only level 1 agents will talk to you. So you will need to get your faction standings above -2.1 by e.g. grinding L1s for storylines or running tutorials.

It should read: Your personal standings must be -2.0 or higher toward this agent, its faction, and its corporation in order to use this agent's services.
There's 3 different standings that allow access to regular high level agents:
Faction
Corporation
Agent
If any of these 3 standings drop to -2.00 or lower, access will no longer be available.
R&D Agents require a minimum set amount of Corporation standing along with a maximum amount of Faction or Corporation standing.
For your R&D Agent, raise the Faction standing and keep it above -2.00 and you'll have access as long as the Corporation standing is above the maximum standing required by the Agent.
Completing a couple of missions for some Event_Agents should do it.

if (agent standing < -2.0) or (corp standing < -2.0) or (faction standing < -2.0)
then agent is unavailable
