O.k. killers, what is the best method to take down a hig sec control tower? Sheild is down, everything is offline, war is decalred and I don't anticipate any enemy resistance (I hope). thanks.

If you don't anticipate resistance, then any high-DPS battleship that can support itself without cap boosters works extremely well. Typhoon, Raven, Tempest, all are good choices. If you can be bothered to drag a hauler in and drop a can of cap boosters, and seeing as how the shield is down, then blaster platforms like the Mega can sit on top of the POS at zero and melt it.
If you're going to bring ships which may have cap issues (such as Abbadons) then you'll need to make cap arrangements, such as Guardians. Or you could just drop a boatload of cap boosters, because unless you have a fair amount of BS you're going to be there for a while. But they still work just fine.

Shove enough cap rechargers/flux coils/ccc rigs on a geddon to make it cap stable with its lasers, park at pos, go afk for awhile.

If shields are down - take your best facemelting ships (bs,bc) with best dps at closest range, since you can warp (approach) the tower at 0km.

This, or, but only if you're really bored and need to tickle your funny bone, the 1500+ dps typhoon (needs supplies and manual clicking though, geddon is 'F1, read book' and frankly we should all be reading more books)
