Can someone please clear something up for me?
I have heard a number of times on chat channels that people are taking security hits when killing wanted characters with bounties. In one instance in 0.0 space, the person had 3.2 status before then 0.2 after the kill. He reported no friendly fire damage.
Am I missing something? Security hit for tracking down a bounty? You must be a pirate to bring pirates to "justice?"

I podded a pirate with a 5k bounty and a -3.2 rating. My security status didn't move but it was 0.0 space.

eh, I think he was talking about player character pirates, not npc pirates =)

Explain to me how to pod an NPC pirate please...I haven't seen them eject to a POD yet.
Or in simple terms I podded a -3.2 security rating, wanted, PC pirate.

A PC has to be lower than -5.0 to be freely killable. Anything higher than that is considered killing an innocent. Bounty has no bearing on legal status, whatsoever. |

Why can't I freely attack wanted players, or place a bounty on them?

I now have a horrible (sic) -0.1 rating and have CONCORD following me around and sentry guns firing on me. All from a missile I fired while defending some friends exploding near one of them.
How can I quickly fix this? This isn't a big deal (rating wise) but having everyone shooting at me is a bit ridiculous.
