With 28000 post on a single forum all I can wrap my head around is that you are ethier insane or some sort of Cyborg who interfaces with the iternet everywhere posting on 1000's of forums all around the world battling Dark Shikari a rival Cyborg. After you destroyed it you set out to defeat all his records in a twisted version of vengence.

Indeed. Tis a shame, all these frogspawn these days don't know what they missed.
also, for those of you wondering: Dark Shikari stopped posting almost three years ago, at 28773 posts. About five times the amount of posts of the second highest poster at the time had, if I recall correctly. Akita has been burning this gap quite quickly in the last year, considering in 2009 I actually made more posts than Akita
Which kind of makes what Akita has done rather remarkable in my eyes.

Look for yourself.
There was significant substance there, but of course nobody can resist making the occasional spam-like post.
His posts though tended to be a bit shorter than mine on average (936 vs 1084) and he also started less threads (492 vs 542).
Our posting habits were somewhat similar, but he did so much more often, more than 21/day while active, he had a couple of breaks which are also counted in that average (before his last post) -vs- 15.4/day for me without any noticeable long-term breaks.
He was posting with a slightly higher percentage in both EGD and OOPE (both our leading percentages), but I tended to post a lot more in Ships&Modules (much less lately), MD, S&I and Skills, while he tended to post more in New Citizens (I tend to frequent that a lot more often lately) and CAOD (where I barely ever venture).

me : April 2006 -> still here in May 2011
P.S. He also was much less of a threadnought starter 
His largest thread is 369 posts long (13 pages), while I think I'd need both hands to count on my fingers the threads I started that run well over that number (the 1k papercuts one is at 54 pages, the technetium one in MD is at 48 pages, the T2 BPO one in S&I is at 38 pages, etc).

Technically, I'm still #2 on this forum, since all the posts in the new forums are also counted by the stats page, and I made quite a few there too before they closed and these forums reopened.
They're all still indexed on eve-search if you look for them.
P.S. Should be easy to spot due to extremely low thread IDs (plus you know the dates).

Occasionally, but I seldom use them even when I have them at all in the first place, and I usually ended up selling them, since I don't have much (or anything) to do with them once they're "grown" (yes, I find it much more fun to fool around on low-SP chars, but have lacked the free time to do so lately, and I'm not exactly lacking ISK these days either).
Right now, I do have an alt that I've grown from scratch to over 30 mil SP, but only have around 150 hours logged on to it in total (as per eveboard stats), most of it in the early days (now, just log on to switch skills, preferably long ones). The only reason I haven't sold it yet is that the ISK I'd get for it is next to meaningless for me.
In comparison, Akita T has less than three times the SP but clocks in almost twenty times as much online.
Also, almost every last post I ever made was from this character, other than the very accidental selection of a wrong character back when this was an issue with the forums (or an irrelevant post from a temporary funny name alt matching the discussed topic, just for lulz).
P.S. Side-note : WTB character "AFK Cloaker", are you for sale ?

Well, according to weird research in this thread regarding my posting statistics (bottom of page 2 - timezone analysis), it's not the timezone that's giving you trouble (I actually never managed to fully stick to a 24h day schedule anyway, so I am merely slightly more active during server mid-day and slightly less active during server midnight, but on average, you have a good chance of finding me around at just about any hour), it's the fact that I'm seldom online for long lately that's making it difficult to cross paths in-game.

Dark Shikari went on to be a major player in H.264 from what I can make out. A very clever guy.
