Levi Duke	Posted - 2011.05.25 13:58:00 - [1] I'm looking to get the Incursion community's overall honest opinion of the Sk33t Fl33t. Please post your opinion, good or bad, along with an experience you've personally had regarding the fleet, whether in a site, in the forums, or in the Incursion channels. Flame is permitted, however intelligent posts with examples of experiences will be taken on a much more serious note.

Poaw	Posted - 2011.05.25 16:33:00 - [4] They run Incursions quite well. And also dabble a bit in getting tears out of people not in sk33t fl33t or running sites with them. It is a bit of a sore point to quite a few people who run with shield fleets.

Its a fleet that specializes in blitzing sites, that will occasionally stumble across others running sites. What is the big deal? I haven't been part of it but I've certaintly competed for sites with them. You win some, you loose some. Get over it and stop complaining. Also, no, there isn't anything that you can do to stop it. You can't wardec them, because its not just one corp. You can't ban them from shield channels, because they only pull from people they've flown with before that they know are competent. The only thing that you can do is run MoM sites early, and thats kind of like shooting yourself in the foot. You know... seeing as they are a blitz fleet, they'll just run the sites faster than you and make more anyways, and leave you once again with no incursions at all to run. -Arazel

We are working on diplomacy issues between a few of the incursion fleets and we are just trying to generate a general consensus on some of the issues we need to work on in order to all get along better.

Some guys have actually tried to wardec us, it didn't go so well, and like you said, banning us from public incursion channels will not do much to hurt our fleets. But we're the incursion scapegoat, what can you do...

My guess as to why I posted it would most likely be the fact I heard Skeet Fleet mentioned a few times and am myself interested in running incursions. But I seem to have collected enough information from the other helpful people in this post.

However a bit lacking in terms of internal communication and recruitemt. Being asked several times to join channel but never actually getting channel access -more than once- starts to get pretty irritating.

After like the 4th vindi, more dps really doesn't make that much of a difference for vanguards.

Anywhere from: "OMG those guys are 1337 cos of the numbers and blitz mode they braek for no-one and make loads I wish they'd let me join!!!1! to "OMG those guys are arrogant *****s they have no respect and ** around and follow you between sites they should be banned!!1!" I think most people are fairly decent about sk33t now, and competition is regular between BTL fleets now anyway so that part is no longer an issue.

(Yes, I am being a punk and hiding behind an alt name.) They're amazingly efficient and that makes it fun to fly as part of the team, but eventually all of the drama made me stop wanting to log in. It has been the best money I have ever made in EVE, but I really haven't taken part in almost 2 months now. Good group of guys, but it all gets a bit too serious for me :)
