I've played EVE on and off (mostly off) for years now and I'm back for now on a five-day reactivation offer. I've puttered about doing various things in the past, but the only "productive" activity I've ever engaged in to any extent is mission running (which quickly becomes a snore).
I'm looking for interesting activities to engage in, preferably ones with decent ISK-earning potential. I'm mainly interested in activities I can begin to practically pursue within a relatively short (~2 week) time frame. What kind of corp might find me to be a decent asset? (I know this depends on player skill as well -- assume I am relatively clueless but a decently fast learner.)
My character has about 11 million skill points, which unfortunately aren't too well-focused. I have a bit over 1 million in unallocated skill points thanks to the removal of learning skills.
Almost 4.8m of of the SP I have are tied up in drone skills (I can use t2 heavies and sentries) which is unfortunately the most irritating weapons system ever (I love the IDEA of drones, though).
I believe that at various times I have aspired to fly a blockade runner, covert ops frigate, a logistics Dominix, and a cheap PvP Rifter which may or may not explain the smattering of skills to be listed at the end of this post (I've got a bunch of other skills trained to low levels, but together they probably all represent less than 24 hours worth of training).
As far as resources go, I've got 445 million ISK and a fitted Dominix suited for mission running, a couple Myrmidons and some destroyers fitted for looting/salvaging, and a bunch of other miscellaneous junk that probably isn't worth much.
My current attributes are Intelligence 27, Perception 28, with Charisma, Willpower and Memory all at 20 (Intaki character with all +3 implants, except Int which is +4). I have a neural remap available.
Your help is appreciated.

I don't think it is ever that time. Just always add more.
OP, try using EVEBoard to share your skills.

That character actually isn't too far away from training Logistics and flying a decent armor logi. Something that'll be appreciated in many a pvp fleet, as well as in wormholes or incursions. Thanks, Taross. I actually joined a WH corp shortly before I quit last time, but it seemed a bit inactive at the times I played, and I was a bit reserved, as I sometimes am around strangers -- so I never actually ended up *doing* anything.
But anyway, why I was training towards a logistics Domi as well as a Cheetah for probing/scouting. It still seems like an appealing path, I guess I'll just have to be a little more outgoing next time if I decide to go that route, and maybe be a little more selective about the corp.
Tau, I'm a little leery of posting my skill profile on a public web site. That's probably stupid paranoia though. I'll reconsider and may do that tomorrow.
Thanks to you both.

If you're interested in PVP you have most of the basic skills to fly tackle ships in FW.
I would say place an add about yourself in the recruitment section of the forums and see what people offer you to do in EVE.

I'll probably do that, Turelus (post on the recruitment forums). I'm just trying to take stock for the moment.
FW sounds like a somewhat interesting option that I'll need to look into. I don't expect, however, that flying a tackler in FW will provide me with a significant stream of income (though maybe I'm wrong). I also worry that by participating in FW I may be setting myself up for a lengthy grind should I ever want to put myself back in the good graces of the opposing faction. I've also read that the system has been poorly supported and mostly ignored by devs since the EA expansion and that it currently rests in a somewhat sorry state.
Still, it can't be any worse than mission running (at least in terms of the amount of fun it is) and I do want to get my feet wet with some PvP somehow.

I just started playing incursions, if you can T2 fit a battlecruiser (preferably with T2 guns), you can make pretty good money. You have to figure out which channel to join for the better fleets though (there is a separate channel for shield and armor tanking fleets).
And as someone said earlier, logistics are really appreciated (and you will earn money doing this).
Just as a taste of what to expect for income (I fly a T2 fitted hurricane): 10.5 MISK and 1400 LP (from concord) per vanguard complex. Running complexes back to back takes 11-12 minutes for each payout
Of course there can be a lot of competition, not earning much for hours. And getting into a fleet with just a battlecruiser may proof difficult. Make sure you check the best fits for running incursions by asking for good ones in the channel (or just watch as everyone posts their fit to get into the fleet anyway).
And I find it quite fun, as there is a bit of danger involved. It seems there is everyday a moment that something goes wrong; a logistics pilot disconnect, someone triggers the wrong spawn. And then the fleet almost falls apart, and I have been in a fleet where it did and half of the ships were destroyed within no time at all. And most fly really expensive ships, I myself am training for a sleipnir.
Fun trivia: Sleipnir is the eight legged flying horse of Odin. Since Sinterklaas (a december holiday in The Netherlands with a very close resemblance to Santa Claus) is based on Odin, Sinterklaas' horse that walks on roof tops is Sleipnir.

Thanks, Rez.
Unfortunately I'm significant ways off from being able to employ any medium+ t2 weapons system effectively (besides drones) and I'm not sure what type of weapon I'd want to commit to -- hybrid weapons and their usual platforms are a bit weak at the moment (who knows though, they could end up getting buffed shortly after I start using them), but going another route would involve more training overall and an even less focused roster of skills.
I think I'm going to end up looking for another WH corp, as it seems like the most interesting, potentially rewarding option that I can soon "qualify" for.
Thanks again, everyone.

Incursions, exploration or perhaps COSMOS.
