Ok i filed a petition 3 days ago cause i was robbed and were told the director that did it sold his acct on ebay, so my question is how long does ot take usually to hear fromm cpp wether it was sold or hacked?

I recognize that it is VERY frustrating to be in the position that you are in, and I wish someone here could post something to make you feel less so, please check out eve-search.com as you can find hundreds of posts of people asking WHEN will their petition be addressed and you'll find that every last one of them got a "as soon as we can" reply.

they gotta investigate it and it can take some time
and if it was not hacked you will probably not see the items back (you say robbing and director so assuming it is corp theft)

Actually the acct that stole was a director, he sold the acct for rl cash but never removed the roles or told me he was leaving, so the buyer logged in took the corp wallet, but i now have forum logs of the rl sale so hopefully ccp replies soon so i can show them.

Selling an account isn't the same as hacked. That account will likely just be banned if there was realy a sale. Also if the character sale isn't through the character bazaar forum there is no insurance from ccp.

Selling the account of e-bay, likely just seems like a cover story from the guy that robbed you.

As stated, selling is different from hacking. Your money is gone, deal with it. You ain't getting it back.

What about if the ceo's account was hacked, the hacker looted the acc, corp and sold the account login on ebay.

Let me get this right...
1. Original owner sells his account on ebay for cash
2. Original owner forgets to remove director roles from his alts
3. New owner logs in and sees that at least 1 alt has director's role. Goes ahead and steals corp assets
4. You login and notice stuff's gone b/c of 1-3 and petition it.
So, only result I see coming from this:
A) New owner gets banned
B) Original owner gets banned
C) Corp asset never gets returned
Don't bet on getting anything back. Your corp lost stuff because of the stupidity of one of its director.
