Lets stop for a moment and think about what Eve really is and what are the key elements which keep you in the game. The goal of the posts in this thread is to show to CCP what parts of the game invidual pilots value and to which direction they would like to see the game evolve in future.
My personal opinnion is as follows:
I started to play this game because it offers enviroment to enjoy the game gendre what elite started back when amiga 500 was state of the art computer. Obviously we have came far from those times and the games have gone to whole different level.
However Eve is still rather limited game. It is rather repeative and lacks variety. Player driven economy and space is mainly controlled by will of few big alliances/instances. Corporations have very limited tools to become something what almost every second corporation wouldn't do already and most of the tools in UI in general are rather outdated compared to what they could be.
At the moment I mainly stay in this game because of the community and because the game itself has such major amount of potential to be something I would actually love to _play_ every day.
And finally... how my Eve would look like in the future:
1. It would have wfde varioation of corporations supported by in game administration tools to make this possible. - Wide variation of taxing tools. - Much greater level and more detailed access rights. - In game advertising. - More contract options (for example replace bounty system with contract to kill someone, taxi service (pod transport), escort service, + about unlimited number of other things people come up with) - Tools to avoid (not prevent) most of the corp thefts and this way support corps with actual people rather than 1 man corps.
2. It would have station walking and stations would contain at least mini games, bar and offices of corporations stationed there.
3. It would have station walking extended to some missions, some exploration and perhaps even data mining, in space or in planets.
4. Station walking would also be extended to PI and entire PI would be modified towards something where clicking is not neccessary but by tweaking something now and then the yield will be much greater than when not clicking at all. Basically more monitoring, thinking and hauling, less stupid daily/weekly clicking of same icons over and over again.
5. More fragmented 0.0 space ownership for obvious reasons.

I would like to see the introduction of Corporate Espionage into the game (skills etc as well) With those skills another corp could use them to cause havoc within the target corp/alliance. They could say make research/ship building/other building go at half the speed by doing something to the target corps Main-Frame computer system. (Will require walking in stations also of course)(Yeah Meta Gaming currently allows this sort of thing but it isn't really an official part of game-play)
To counter it corps could install things like special security systems that aren't 100% foolproof to make things fair but they do warn the target corp of intruders within the Main-Frame Room.
Would basically be tactics that cost extra time to corps & not totally destroy them straight off the bat. It would also enable at least a bit of monitoring ability for CCP & it could be made a lot better I am sure.
I would like to see a Highsec that is a little less safe for people that live & do things there. Don't remove Concord completely but maybe have it so they only attend incidents in 1.0/Starter systems... Lets face it when you do the numbers there is very great advantage to living & doing everything in Highsec with very small risk & CCP seem to be wanting to make it even safer.
CCP could even maybe have it so that players can create diversions for Concord to attend which would mean they take longer to respond to the real incident. The way Concord scales etc would have to stay similar as otherwise people would just use bigger & bigger blobs to get around them but it could be an idea that would make for more interesting events within Highsec.
Dealing with those that run RMTing operations needs to happen a little faster also & I would hope if the game is still around in a few yrs that the RMTing would be just about stamped out.
