HI guys,
Gotta love what just happened to me loose 12 billion, get my 'Credit Card' information taken through eve website by the person who hacked my account. any way today is the 3rd day after this whole disaster happened and OH **** CCP hasn't yet replied back while i sit there literally with no assets as they were all stolen by a Character name 'yoursewed Sewed' from corporation Demonheim from XXXDEATHXXX quite amazing. not only unauthorized transaction from my credit card so i know i pay 30$ for the thieves at the bank for changing my accounts. Quit eve until CCP resolves this issue, though i have lack of confidence that i will at least get me assets back.
Regards to all,
Change your passwords monthly its worth it especially in my case.

1. Russians in this game are all dirty thieving bastards who RMT isk
2. I don't think the ccp website actually shows the credit card number, otherwise CCP would have had their merchant processing rights revoked long ago. (If they do, petition the credit card companies as that will get CCP ****ed instantly).

that's a funny question i play by the rules matey. no bots i have no time for that has days come i work 12hours a day. very ignorant of you to assume such things when you dont know the person or facts Ildryn

somebody who claims they work 12 hour days would have a higher incentive to bot for spaceriches than a neckbeard who farms pve content for 12 hours a day.

without exception anybody who posts here of all places. they got banned or and hacked was from cheating botting or rmting.

When a character is deleted he appears in that corp.
Petitioning CCP will only get your stuff ingame back that hasent been sold or the amount in space dollars the theif made off it. Normally not very much, from 12bn i would expect 4bn back.
Also petitions take a long ass time because they get a lot of this and it requires a lot of log looking at.
TBH you could do what I did and track down the culprit and get all of his details, including where he works and just ruin his real life.
hint: look at ip data on your accounts page.
Your first port of call should have been the CC company to get your cc blocked and a new one issued.
They will then take take to court whoever takes your Earth Dollars.

Have you spoken to your bank? Fraud is covered against, so ring them, flag up the fraudulent transactions and wait a while for your money to be returned.

yes ive cancelled my credit card and the bank is returning roughly 80$ back into my account but cost me 30$ for reissuing a card. for the sake of justice i hope to get all back and not 4 billion back as it took me almost 3 years of my time to get to where im at in the game atm .

1. Confirming that there's no such thing as hacking an Eve Online account, just knowing or guessing the password correctly in combination with knowing the logon ID and gaining access to it that way.
2. Confirming that either using your account logon ID and password on other sites is simply your fault and lack of foresight / common sense.
3. Confirming that, regardless of the strength of your internet and computer kung fu, you should be able to avoid the majority of attempts to compromise your computer with freely available software and the aforementioned common sense.
4. Confirming that I am new to Eve Online and have only been a victim to one trojan attempt on my computer once in my entire life which was purely my own fault for allowing a friend to access the administrative account on my machine for a few hours rather than create him a limited user account to use instead. Common sense fail involving lazyness.
5. Confirming I like confirming and am also a **** for using it so much.

OP is spouting bull****. Your credit card details were not stolen from Eve a result of account hacking because they are never fully displayed on the account sub screens, just 4 of the 16 digits are every shown.

To all the idiotic sodding comments from most of the people:
1- i adhere to the EULA
2- as an IT professional i know when my pc has a Fu**cking virus or not or spyware
3- believe it or not, never used bots neither "KNOW" how to use them frankly
4- Ive lost out 12 billion and CCP didn't reply as of yet.
5- the game is quite boring these day even a bot or whatever its called isn't worth it in my opinion and i play passively in eve.
6- yes how about you haters *STFU* and stop making a situation worse and aggravating it with your useless comments
7- in my opinion eve community is full of **** especially the ones on the forums hatting seriously not worth even trying to post here no more.
8- to all the reasonably kind comments thank you very much, all i was aiming for is to raise awareness.
