Somewhere deep in the Astrometrics skill tree, a skill that gives a more narrow or entirely accurate display of the life and mass remaining on a given wormhole would be awesome. To steal the example from a corpmate :
Level 1: splits the 4-24 hour info into two: 4-12 and 12-24 Level 2: gives precise timer when under 10 minutes Level 3: gives precise timer when under 4 hours Level 4: gives approximate (+/- 1 hour) number of hours left above 4 hours Level 5: Always precise timer
And then just tack on something similar for mass. Could be a separate skill, I suppose.

Stop trying to make wormhole space more risk free like all the other bears.

Bears? Hardly. We scan down a handful of wormholes from our staging system, we go in, we clear sites, we don't really care whether or not someone lives in the system. We may be NRDS, but the typical wormhole dweller is NBSI, so we come prepared, of course.
Simply a way to know which of those "could be anywhere from 6 to 24 hours remaining" wormholes to go into so we don't go into the 10 hour remaining hole when another one had only 5, only to come out and head to the next and find it nearing collapse.

W-Space will NEVER be safe, regardless of skills. It's far more dangerous than nullsec and the rewards are not proportional to the risk. 9 people flying 11 ships - all well-skilled and well-fitted, 3 hours in W-Space Class 3 and we get what? 30 mil per person? That's just ridiculous - you can get more while mining null with much less risk. So don't compare us to carebears - we take the risk but at this point the reward is not worth it.
The entire idea came up because we found two WHs, both C3 and we wanted to do both. If we had such skill we'd do the other WH first since it had more time left on the clock than the first one we tackled even thou when we started they both said "won't last another day". If we had known that the second WH has much less time left we'd start with it, making it less of a waste of time for us.

it looks like a good idea at first, but it is not. You'll remove the thrill to live in W-Spaces. It is that doubt about lifetimes and weights which makes W-spaces attractives, dangerous and full of surprises.

That seems better accomplished by adding more sites, randomizing wave spawns, and giving Sleepers bubbles...

A rank 2321 skill would take about 9-10 days to train, if you were appropriately remapped. ...just FYI.

I don't think you and your corpmate though this thru.
The same way you want to reduce your risk when you jump in/out a WH by knowing exactly how long or how much mass it got left, this will also reduce the risk for pirates getting a full gang safely inside your wormhole (control yourself naughty people) and wiping you out. I see no problem with this as long as it requires a mid slot scanner module and a lot of training.
