How would you feel, being a developer, and having to work on the same, bloody, space, game, for years, and after years, and after years. They're GAME DEVELOPERS. It's what they do. They make video games.
The whole point of earning money from EVE Subscriptions is so that one day they could take a break and make something else. It's like saying "CCP need your money so that some random developer could buy himself and his family a new flat screen TV." Like that isn't the whole point of making video games. Yes, CCP need your money to live. And to do what they love.
Yes, you should play again, as it's an amazing game and I applaud CCP for everything they've made for us.
What we want is for CCP to take this as more than just a job, just as many of us take this is as more than just a game.
We want them to be constantly seeking to ways to make the game better, not constantly seeking to just get if finished or find ways to make more money. We want them to rise to challenges in designing eve not just try and shove it on the backlog or cut it all for lack of time.
We want them to face the hard issues and give us honest answers not hide behind a wall of silence. It may not make everyone happy but at least people will know that you listen.
We want them to look back on their work and say "I could do better, because I am better" and it not just be empty words but backed by the knowledge they have put in the effort and training to improve themselves not just as a side product but as a real goal.
We want you to make realistic plans for the future not just give the same old promise that you'll get around to fixing it later.
We want you to have a clear and achievable goal for your future and we want to share that goal, not have it be some vague idea in the back of some devs head.
This is what excellence is and this is what CCP clearly lacks.

It has nothing to do with ToS or where how much rights CCP have to spend their own money.
It's about them being dedicated to this game in a way approaching how they used to treat it.

The game has been reduced to only highsec now or null if you are a HUGE alliance powerblock ($$P Pets). Recent changes by $$P means you have to pay real money for everything.
INSERT iHubs...take player ISK...REMOVE iHubs.. = RL Monies for $$P

I just checked and they are at the highest levels I have ever seen personally. It may have been higher at some stage but I doubt it.

As much as people saying CCP lacks efficiency at least they don't lack resources. So there is still hope.
