From what I've been told the circle (or HUD) on my screen hasn't changed since the inception of EVE. I personally think it's a little dull and in need of a facelift or futuristic design to it. Even the meters which show overheated mods are extremely small and hard to gauge. It would be cool if there were digital readouts or something for some of these stats that would make it legible.

Just click on the white arrow (which has recently been replaced with a bunch of white lines) next to it, then click on Show Readout, then click on the white thing again and click Absolute Readout

at least make new overheat buttons, they are ****ing terrible
also, would be nice if you could toggle mods off/on without having to complete the cycle. Also the cycles lag for a few seconds, which suck

I too would like to fire off a salvo of 1400 arty every second or two.

simple: allow player-made UI plugins LOTRO (like the game or not) did it, and it works wonderfully. you can freely modify the UI and it doesn't affect the game or other players in any other way.
it allowed mods like a fast auction viewer and in-game notepads (LOTRO doesn't have one stock)
