I have been playing the game since the last week in april, so about 5 weeks. I was wondering if my wallet was about as full as you would expect, more full, or lessfull.
I currently have around 250million ISK.
Is that a good amount for a noob who's been playing for 5 weeks?

you might want to detail what you are doing
250m is good for some activities and fail for others, it all depends on what you are doing to get it
you might want to read up on career paths to get a sense of risk vs reward for certain isk generating activities

Primarily trading of contract goods. I did some mining and recruiting for a corp initially, a bit of mission running, but the vast majority of the ISK came from buying/selling that delicious Quafe Zero.

Gave enough of a **** to bother posting.
@OP, 250 mil isn't bad for someone in your situation. It's goddamn awful for a higher skilled character who has access to some of the more lucrative activities. But not bad at all for a new player.

Let me put it in several different ways to see how the question itself was a bit... umm... misleading ? confusing ?
1. It's much more than the average amount in the wallet of a player of your age 2. It's a bit more than quite a few sub-capital PvPers like to keep in their wallet on a regular basis 3. It's roughly as much as a mining bot could probably make per full worked day in empire space 4. It's less than you need to buy a PLEX (30 days of gametime) 5. It's noticeably less than what an experienced highsec L4 mission-runner can make in 8 hours 6. It's about as much as a good lowsec L5 blitzer can make in about an hour or two 7. It's tiny compared to the ISK you could get after a single lucky 0.0 officer shootdown _

OP: If you would like to invest that 250M in more lucrative space please send me a mail in-game.

Unfocused 1 month old player trading on the isk they made in game without assistance I'd say that is pretty decent/good. The most important thing is if you enjoyed yourself and/or had goals for that isk.
Collecting ISK isn't the point of the game, nice to have it, nice to make it but you should enjoy what you are doing not looking at your wallet as a scorecard.

It's a good start.
With trading you will find the more you invest, the more you make. That will only improve with time. Having a better understanding of the game will also help you in trading popular commodities and before you know it you will be sitting on a healthy wallet with lots of opportunities.
Sounds like you are poking around at a few different areas of the game already so keep that up and you will do fine. PVP isn't for everybody but it's worth having a go at, you really don't have anything to lose by trying. Failing that, there's plenty of things you can do in eve to keep you entertained if you have the imagination.

Said it before so will say it again, in Eve the more money you have, the more you can make, it will snowball.. before you know it you will be well into the billions.
Keep it up :)

I cashed in 270 mil in 21 days, ninja salvaging. Though a lot of grind was involved..some tears too!
Incidentally, the guy that cried most, was eventually lending me the isk needed for first plex.

Akita put it in perspective really well but I'll add a couple thoughts:
- whether it is impressive or not for a new player it depends on how many hours you played and whether you were just grinding missions and salvaging them,
- if you did grind some heavy standing (you'd need to have run a ton of level 3's and done 30 or 40 story lines and gotten faction standing up above 4 ) the standing could very well be worth more than the 250 million should you ever sell the character (some "ifs" about what corp and how high but still)
- Especially if you did more than missions, what you have learned in your 5 weeks in making that isk is really whats going to make your more isk / hr in the future... how to optomize time , sweet spots for trade, how to find the right agent(nerfed) , some feel about where to sell and what to reprocesses and a system for sorting loot etc..
