Hey all, i was wondering if any 1 could help.
Yesterday while playing the game, my overview was all good and working with no problems.
When i got home today and installed the minor update, my overview became buggy as hell.
Let me explain
Normaly, things listed on my overview, such as ships planets and what not are in a solid white writing.
Now, every time i warp some where or use a stargate, the writing becomes gray. And ships that are not actually there, are still on my overview, including them advert cans and such.
My father who also plays the game is having the same issues on his side. As well as hostile targets not actually appearing on the overview at all.
This unfortunately is making the game very hard, if not impossible to play.
I have cleared all cache files. Cleared all settings and run EvEfix.exe to try and fix this. Even asked a few people in the EvE help channal. Although all i got was temp fix's such as tapping the tab button twice to reset the overview.

as you can see everything there is grayed out. And its showing a ship that isnt actually there.
Any help or adivse would be appreciated.
Hoping to get this fixed before i have to top up my account, if not.. i have no reason to re top up a game i can not enjoy proper.

I want to add 2 more issues (since the 3rd: PI rendering just half of the buildings is known):
1) Most often, clicking on the overview both ships, gates etc, you get a "Outside looking range" message, then the game goes on. Never had it before.
2) When I go near a planet, I don't see its "circle" icon at the center of it any more. All the other features including moons icons, gates etc show perfectly. The overview shows the circles for the planets though.

Same ever since the 'CARBON UI' update and the 2 following patches game been buggy ever sine and not only the overview
CCP I always admired you but now this is getting annoying , i never had a complain but now i feelthe urge to shout
STOP ADDING THINGS THAT DON'T WORK FIX THE BLOODY GAME FIRST

Old bug, Although it seems to happen more often now.
Close overview, Re-open overview, Fixed.
Takes about 3-5 seconds. |

This has been suggested to me. And indeed i have tryed it, but it does not work. It provieds a temp fix untill i next warp to some where or use a star gate.

true but like you said it happen more often ; every 3 system i jump in the overview goes haywire
Another thing i experience is when i warp 1 ot of 3 times there is no warp animation
another issue keys seems to get stuck which is annoying especially when your alt key gets stuck an you camara changes constantly solution is to press the alt key again , but keys shouldn't get stuck

I found that if you press the left ctrl key it clears the 'ghost' images....weird

Ok , having to press my left "Ctrl" key every 30 seconds to reset my overview is starting to get really anoying.
And zooming in camera angle wise on everything i click.. and targeting everything i click... really really frustraiting!

CCP got it wrong again. I suggest you don't try anything risky until the current Q&A team (playerbase) have reported all bugs and they have been fixed.

I found that as long as you click on an overview tab every time you change sessions it works and you get your on-screen feedback again.
pretty freaky when you jump into a gate and see nothing, then click overview tab and suddenly theres 50 ships sitting next to you

having the same trouble, but the grey shade covers my drone bay box too..petitioned ccp and heard nothing in days now

My overview bug, Everytime I jump a gate or undock I have to turn my normal brackets back on or I can't see SH!T. Petitioned it 3 or 4 days ago and haven't heard a thing.
**To Devs reading this, YES I cleared my cache, Also that never helps so stop telling people to try it**
