Edited by: thelung187 on 15/02/2005 05:24:54 Blew up Smite Brotherhood's Jack Jeckel's Badger II today, only to find that in his giant secures he had loads of ammo, guns, and t2 components. Funny, I thought they left FA, I wonder if they have to pay 5mil/day for a pass to keep moving arms into Fountain. No need for alt flying, apparently corps can just leave so they avoid the empire war, yet keep on supplying the alliance. Anyone care to respond? And if if the replies consist of the obligatory traitor/backstabber/monkey******, well, then I guess we have our answer, otherwise someone with a decent pair give me a straight answer.

Well one of their members "Toohot" said they left FA to attack SE, so make of that what you will. ---------------

I think the poor souls of smite brotherhood must of been ordered too do his by the evil mysterious [Tornsoul] - agent reports indicate he was last in nol
I hope we the "anti-fa" fighters can liberate all poor souls, into a new pod where they can then "see sense"

As with all corps and individuals that leave FA on good terms, TSBH have a reasonable period of time to move their belongings out of FA territory without requiring passports.
Since you destroyed the indi I think it's unlikely you know it's (intended) final destination.

TSBH is a corp of cowards. The only thing they can do is flee when things get tense.
They did it with Fade Union when FU was under pressure and they did it again with FA.
They can only be part of an alliance when its peace and quite so they can mine their arses off. When trouble arise TSBH runs away. By now it can be consider their sig.

Tbh all the TSBH pilots I flew with were great peeps and they fought well in the fleets I was apart of. I hope they can leave FA on good terms but they should watch their backs from the more over enthusiastic ones.

Strangely enough, he was attempting TO dock at the YZ-LQL Assembly station. This wasn't at a gate or moon or anything of that nature. Usually when you're moving stuff OUT, you're not in indys loaded with guns, ammo, and t2 components heading TOWARDS a station, but rather AWAY from them and into empire. Any further speculation? Or can we just come to the conclusion that TSBH is pulling the ol' "Supremacy is CA but not CA trick", only not with pvp but indy shipments?

hmm . . .can't say I like this comment much considering SUPRM (after a vote of SUPRM members) specifically left CA to go to war against two alliances in empire. I figure most of the lads wouldn't like their names linked to people who apparently do it to avoid wars.

Still workin' off some of that old FA mentality... old habits are hard to break sometimes. That was the thought process at the time, if that wasn't the case, then my apologies.

maybe he was docking to pick up more of his possesions?
You know there is more than 1 station he could have kit at....or did u not notice that in the time u were FA?
The fact you killed an indy (congratulations btw your now 1337) full of stuff means diddly ****. I used to fly indys full of ammo and stuff around FA core after i left and was NPC'ing your just looking for an excuse to flame them, pretty pathetic.

Hey, go put some more vowels in your name, and come back here when you know what you're talking about douchebag. Why would he dock to pick up MORE stuff when he was already full of stuff already? Go fall down some stairs and remove yourself from the gene pool.
We could ask you to remove yourself from the gene pool, but we don't think you made it that far...

1. Congratulations on killing a hauler
2. Thank you for posting about it here /me points to killboards
3. Please leave your conspiracy theories somewhere else. Smite are not supplying us. He was obviously moving all his stuff around or goint to different stations to pick it all up after leaving FA. And how the hell would you know that his hauler was full?? Plz. dont blow up one hauler and think you found a reason to make it sound so cool....post it on kill board and be done with it....

I'm not FA, I don't like FA, but it is pretty obvious here that you are the douchebag...there are lots of reasons he could have docked at that station that don't mean he is supplying FA. None of which you seem capable of understanding. So...if you would be so kind as to remove yourself from the genepool it would be greatly appreciated by the remainder of us.

If you leave a region with a working market, like Fountain, you won't fly out ammo and t2 comps. Ammo is worth 10-1000x more up there than anywhere else you want to fly your hauler. T2 comps are also sold at a solid mark-up. The customers are both FA and their enemies.
The same goes for skillbooks. The only npc supply of skills in Fountain is agent bonuses, and that's extremely rare, especially compared to demand. You won't get many points if you fly skills OUT of the region.
lung has valid points.

This thread had no other intention than to act as flamebait.
What TSBH is doing, is their business. If they supply FA, well, that's their choice. We are however quite self-sufficient and not in need of external shippers.
The most logical explanation therefor would actually be that he tried to dock because there were pirates like ATUK in space. This was illustrated nicely, by thelung himself, by killing the indy.

We have had a discussion before, on IRC, about your knowledge of the market. Most people thought you didn't have a real clue about it. Your post here emphasizes that even more. There is not much T2 production in Fountain. Most of our T2 production is in Empire, where the money is made. This is where most T2 components will be going. Ammo isn't worth more or less than it is in Empire. However you might disagree with this, based on your view of how the Fountain market works.
And I really have no idea why you suddenly introduced the skillbooks. Skillbooks given by agents are a nice bonus, but often they're found useless (most of the time they are science skills). Other skills are simply imported from Empire.

Was there a reason to kill the guy? No. The only reason I can come up with is that he was ex-FA. But so is half of ATUK. Don't see them shooting eachother.

This is a discussion forum not a personal abuse forum. If you cant take someone making a valid point then i suggest you dont come here again.
How do you know he was full? Do you know his hauler skill level? do you know what cargo expanders he had? Did you add up all the m3 of kit he had that was destroyed and what was left in a can? Im gonna guess you probably havent.

Good to see you upheld your side of the bargon on letting TSBH leave mostly unmolested. You promised you would tell your pilots to avoid this stuff. Now considering you were the one who made the promise, you should have known not to shoot him, no excuses for it.
Oh and btw, he was moving his stuff out. Dont suppose u got his large mining barge bpo did u? ---------------
