Was about to do awesome stuff, then Falcon out of nowhere.
Share your PvP Falcon stories. Goshdarn they are the I-Win button in solo pvp.
e: Or at least the I-Draw button. Combined gang dps of like 300 doesn't really pose a threat as you slowboat 10km towards the gate at 50m/s.

Once upon a time there was this fight
With use of effective scouting I was able to ascertain that the enemy fleet had ECM. I relayed this information to my pals and we adjusted for the situation(ECCMed BSes). Once set, we lured the opposing fleet into situation of our choice(them jumping to us)to ensure we could force their ECM to be a killable target. All pilots in fleet left ECCM heated but turned off.
Bait from the opposing fleet was sent forth and promptly engaged, hostiles (ofc blobbed at 0 on the other side) promptly jumped. Got a really sweet spawn on the Falcon, 17km from me. This leet pilot chose to ECM tank only and was dispatched in 2 vollies.

while one can argue about how falcons are bad or good to the game in general, unless you're going against solo falcons, when a falcon shows up, it's not really "solo" now, isn't it?

I should clarify; solo pvp as in I am solo. Come across a 3 or 4 man gang with a Falcon and you're getting no kills unless you're packing a good drone boat.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. 8 Guardians repping a gate camp off a gate to hi-sec. I watched hot-drops by bored clones in the dark near the Ichoriya Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in local. [pause] Time to die to something bigger.

Falcons are awesome though, a Black Ops fleet wouldn't be complete without them.
I'm currently flying one in our Black Ops fleets, and I must say, people hate us with a vengance.
They have some delusion that pvp is suppose to be fair and honorable, and I really dont know where they get that notion from. If you have the means, use them.
Best story.. well, we decided to anchor this bubble on the undock of this station, and we were all sitting quietly waiting on the Black Ops, when the call was made to jump to the covert cyno so we could get this bubble up and running. As we all poked the Black Ops and jumped over, a very unlucky shuttle pilot undocked, and recieved the brutal punishment of the entire black ops fleet. We had much laughter out of that, and even more when someone in his clone station a few systems away, linked what he said in their local "hot drop a shuttle.. really??"
