Well, after reading a post by Oveur where he hints that CCPHammer is working on balancing pulselasers I have one request : please be gentle. 
CCPHammer did a bang-up job on the projectiles it seems, but I am worried about the pulselasers considering the amazing animosity shown by some people against for instance the MegaPulse. I fell that its important to tread gently considering that so many people have specialized themselves towards Pulse lasers.
Please dont turn this into another "Nerf the MegaPulse" thread.

No, I dont mean me, I havent really had much time to devote to specialization skills yet. I just mean that making changes that makes beams relatively better does hurt people who went the pulse way.
When you started training specialization skills for projectiles you chose one path or both, knowing that it would benefit you in the end. Now its almost 6 months since the skills were released and a lot of skillpoints have been invested in pulses since they admittedly are better than beams. Changing the pulses too much will mean that that skill loses a lot of its usefulness and people have wasted lots of training time.
Im not opposed to a mild and gentle change, but making any gun today weaker is a blow to those who have invested lots in gunnery and specialization skills. Thats my point.

Damned whiners. Seems that every damn moron thinks that anything good that he is not using must be nerfed. Pure idiots. They can leave the pulse lasers alone, and hopefully leave missiles alone too.
Actually I do use lasers 95% of the time. Im not whining for a nerf like Nafri and her supporters, but when I read that Pulse lasers are being looked at by CCP Hammer I want it to be as gentle as possible. I like pulse lasers. Did you understand this time ?

Hello, Im the poor fool who started this thread. I specifically asked that it would not be turned into a "nerf the Mega Pulse"-thread. And still it happens. Makes me a bit sad, really. There is a massive thread for all those who are jealous of Armageddons and MegaPulse to vent their spleens, please use that one.
That said I request that the thread be locked since the nerf-brigade has made it go astray.
I would like to restate my original request :
Be gentle when you fiddle around with pulse lasers, CCP Hammer.
Any lowering of the range, damage or tracking of ANY gun at this point in the game will be unfair to pilots who have invested heavily in weapon specialization skills.
