I'm looking to start missions with a Minmatar Corp and was wondering if anyone had a good corp to start with. I started with Boundless, in Hek, but after a while realized that their only 2 level IV agents are both in 0.3 space. I'm thinking of starting up with Brutor in Rens. Is that a good one?
Thanks

I'm not going to tell you what corp to run for to maximize LP conversion, if that's what you're trying to figure out. It's pretty easy to find a couple of decent corps, however; it just takes a little work.
If you're just looking for bounties and an agent that's not right next to lowsec, try Republic Fleet in Gulfonodi. YOu'll be there along with hordes of other mission runners. (And "ninja salvagers". And looters. And gankers.)

The problem with asking for the best agents then saying you don't want lowsec, is that's where the good agents and rewards are.

Edited by: LoBlo Fet on 07/06/2011 05:46:32 Guess what it boils down to is finding a good NPC corp with a lot of 0.5 level 3 and level 4 agents. For example. I was running level 2 missions out of Hek, where the agent is 0.5 which was great. However, then it came time to go to level 3, there were only 2 level 3 agents and both were in 0.3 (Im not equipped to deal with gankers).
I was wondering if anyone found a NPC corp that had nice level 3 and 4 0.5 agents (that wont send you to low sec space).
Also, is there any consequence to the size of the NPC corp besides the number of agents to choose from?
Thanks.

I've recently started doing L4's with Minmatar corps.
Brutor Tribe has a few L4 agents very close to Rens, but I did need to go a few jumps in the wrong direction to get factory space for the loot I broke down (if that's even an issue for you). Fairly crowded around there, attracting ninja salvagers. I get a lot of pirate missions from them.
You may find a more peaceful mission base with Republic Security Service as they are spread out and in every empire. I seem to get more Amarr and Caldari mission from them if tags are your thing.

Hi LoBlo. I've been having a similar problem. I too started with Boundless, found no highsec lvl3s or 4s and switched to Minmatar Mining. Then I found out they have no cloning facilities, so I had to start again. Try looking at the various "Republic" corps, like Republic Justice Dept. or Republic Military School. I think people forget how hard it is to work out all of this agent stuff when you first strat. At least they dropped the qualites so it will be easier to focus on corps that offer what you need, if you know what you are going to need???

Republic Security Service has 3 lvl 4 agents with their own storyline agent located in Aakari, 2 agents are in Korama and one in Ylandoki. Korama do have a low-sec next door but with 3 agents available there will be room for denying any unwanted low-sec. Korama and Ylandoki are both 0.8 system but by blitzing missions payout aint that bad. The benefit of having the storyline agent next door, is that all standing increase will be towards that corp you're doing missions for, and not any random corp you have no intention working for or getting standings with.

Start with brutor and do the storylines. Once you get enough rep with minmatar republic and brutor you can find 3 l4 security agents in one system. . Adapt and overcome or become a monkey on an evolution poster.
