Shmak DatAsh got banned for "Isk Selling." My guess is that someone who wanted Shmak gone has a GM in their back pocket.
He asked them for proof of his alleged isk selling and they said they "are not obligated to show you proof of anything. The accounts will remain banned."

I'm not sure, to be honest. I would guess that they had something to do with Shmak's being banned.... but I can't say for sure.
Basically, everyone who rented from K7D and above was reset.

No one from K7D and above is renting, thank you very much, but yes Atlas has reset quite a few groups. I'm sure there will be plenty of encouraging and disparaging words thrown about over the next few days.

Also ATLAS can of course speak to this better, but pew pew aside, to my knowledge the RMT allegations against Shmak were untrue.

So in this regard then I'm guessing Atlas aim to regain control of the systems and get a little more living space whilst generally attacking anyone who is in there way of getting the job done.
Does this come with any of the rumours of Atlas helping PL for some pre-attack movement and any of the other mumbo jumbo that's floating around the pipe.
Do -A- endorse these attacks and claims to space? or is it totally irrelevant what they think?

No, the RMT allegations are true. I'm convinced of his innocence, however. I didn't ask him what the transactions truly were, but others say he was reimbursing people for ship losses. Also, these transactions happened in 2009. Funny how they're just now getting around to it.

The ISK transfers happened over two years ago for buying strategic crap. Someone that doesn't like Shmak convinced a GM that Shmak was selling ISK.. so meta

I for one would love to see any proof. Unless anyone can present convincing proof I do not and will not believe it. Also, I would like to raise a point, whats to keep other people from making false allegations and having them banned????? It would be like the Salem witch trials or McCarthyism.

shmak asked the alliance he was leading at the time for donations to BUY a station egg and get it however the persons got ganked in highsec so shmak REFUNDED everyone who donated there isk back and decided to reimburse some capital losses at the same time from a fight that happened about the same time
how ever he did it out of HIS OWN POCKET (refunding people is alot easyer with ur own wallet than from the alliance fund i believe but didnt put any reason code into the isk xfers he sent so someone that he refunded must not of liked shmak and gone back and told ccp to get rid of him OR CCP CANT READ LOSS MAILS AND ALLIANCE MAILS FROM THE TIME SO THEY HAVE NO EVIDENCE yet for some reason they just banned him and would not listen

i LIKE this game but if CCP are gonna be tossers and ban GOOD LEGIT PLAYERS coz they dont want to right a reason for refunding more than 50 players their isk after something they wanted to get (the station egg) got ganked and destroyed and capital reimbursements from large fights then i just see eve going down the pan with or without walking in stations
north Q got reset coz they were being ahats saying they kicked out test/PL and everyone else when they basicly did jack **** it was planed for some time and cascade and AAA both know and agreed on the rest of these idiots

seriousness but indulge me.
1. Is there really that much RMT, selling isk/assets
etc going on? Give me an idea how big the whole thing has got.
2. If there is as much RMT going on as you, the NC and whoever
is loosing the current war/s claim shouldn't the efforts of
CCP be applauded when routing out such nefarious actions?
3. Surely the GM's are incorruptible.

1 goto google and search eve online isk buying and find out chances are ull find atleast 10 websites i ofc WONT post any links ull have to find them urself chances are these websites EMPLOY hackers/people to run chars/accounts via mining ratting missions macro bots (prob over 50 chars on bots) etc(and this is an answer to a question ccp dont ban me for it or u will how show more evidence of my answer in question 3....)

3 u havent been playing eve that long ask around about t20 mining lasers and the relationship between old bob and gms/devs and how shrike got his (first) titan reimbursed after a very laggy fight when if there was no lag the outcome would have been the same coz the bubbles would have stay up all the time anyway and then turn around and say our logs show nothing in other fights with LESS lag

I have no idea whats true or not. But I can't believe CCP just ban ppl without any proof. They want ppl playing so they can get our hard earned cash once a month. Waving the ban-stick without reason is not the way to go to keep the money flowing in.
But like I said, I don't know whats happened.

Get it right. He didn't ask for donations, he demanded them, then decided to fly a freighter 5 jumps through lowsec while being tailed by neutrals. Then afterwards started a power struggle in the alliance because no one wanted to hand him another 30 billion just so he could do it again. He deserved to lose it plain and simple. And he did NOT repay his biggest contributors. His whole excuse was "the cap fleet was too far away". He's a noob and probably deserves what he got end of story. As to whether he was involved in RMT that is for ccp to decide. But my guess is he probably was if they say so. He was probably scrambling for a way to get a new egg as no one wanted to give him another isk for it.

As was I, the corp I am in contributed 10 billion to the first egg, we were never reimbursed, in fact he demanded we contribute another 10 billion or leave the alliance. We left, and shot up alot of consortium[dot] members on the way out and successfully defended our pos from their fail attempt to reinforce it. All because their cap fleet was too far away. He tried to hide the fact that it happened in lowsec from everyone. Even deleted the lossmail from the killboard several times before finally being forced to admit it was lost.
