An interesting study. I learned it in Anthropology. Pay careful attention to what it is actually describing. Pay particular attention to the part about breasts.
Can you guess what it is about?

I get the feeling come Incarna, the EVE I knew will slowly fade away into "Barbie In Space." I say this with a sense of disappointment and some dread.
I hope CCP catches on to this becuase the "immersion" factor is slowly fading away. Instead of feeling like I'm shooting at the "enemy," I'll be locking on to interstellar tiddys.
Kind'a gives the word "implant" a whole new meaning, huh?

Here are some abuse stats by the way, real eye openers too, and this is ONLY for the US ALONE. http://www.rainn.org/statistics
Judging by the stats, there is soooo much abuse out there, that it's safe to assume that at least some abuse victims will suffer cos their abuser has been spending too much time staring at EVE Pole Dancers.
Keep Eve clean, Protect Women/Children!
Now apply that same logic to the other aspects of Eve. Suicide ganking, theft, scamming. You wouldn't have a game.

That's too much of a paraphrasing from you that it goes off to a tangent.
I believed he said, if women dressed provocatively, they are opening themselves to predators. And if players perceive women as objects of lust then it would show in their avatars. That's it. Simples. --------- Sent from my BlackBerry.

Since that original comment and my reply were removed about 2 minutes after I reported it, it seems clear that CCP saw the same thing as me. I suggest you re-read what he wrote.
The fact that he says women dress like ****s shows he has little to no respect for a woman's right to dress how she pleases, as men have been doing since forever. It also shows that HIS view of women is skewed as he finds it easier to see the predators point of view than that of the victims.

NO one has the right to do or dress "as they please." All these "rights" are an illusion becuase the effect on society as a whole comes into play. I could not walk down the middle of my town in a thong without police getting involved and mothers shielding the eyes of their children in the street.
Ironically, when it comes to feminine dress the goal is always "sexy." Problem is, "sexy" is a realtive term and the edge is always being pushed once the initial "sexy clothes" have become passe and people have become desensitized to them
That is why the "sexy" clothing of the 21st century is basically just the hooker clothing of the 20th century.

I re-read the poster and I still come to the same conclusion.
Well, it can be said that men can be predators (that is the wrong thing to do), and if a party decides to dress provocatively and it somehow increases the chances of being preyed upon by unlawful predators then the said party should take the initiative to reduce that chances too.
Henceforth, preventing such incident from occurring in the first place. It is just the way he said it is less diplomatic ****rude.
It is like knowing that smoking increases your chances of cancer and cancer being the predator. What you should be doing is not to smoke because it is also your part to try to reduce the chances in the first place. Or knowing that it is dark, so avoid taking the short cut through an alley.
I am not saying women shouldn't dress how they like. It is just that knowing there is a danger, then do what it takes to reduce those chances of incidents from occuring. --------- Sent from my BlackBerry.

I'll tell you, I love a smartly dressed woman. I love the mystery. A woman that is overt by being scantilly clad in the name of being "sexy" just comes across as trashy and unimaginative. But a well dressed woman is intriguing as she leaves much for the (male) imagination which is what sex is all about. Not the in-your-face skin-fest that the media peddles today.
Case in point: the character "Rachel" in Blade Runner. From the moment she came on screen she was just damn sexy.
Yet she was fully dressed. Compared to the stripper/dancer with the snake and the bare tiddies in the same movie, Rachel had her beat by a mile.
But that's me. Catch the movie sometime and see what I mean.
