....suggest you do the same.
Is implementing auto-recall for drones on disconnect too much to ask? At least give a chance for drones to fly back home while ship aligns and warps out. As out of 2 clients running 1 crashed 2 times in 10 mins and made me lose my hobgoblin II. I'm left with no choice, but to petition this as to my surprise its Monday evening and not even a small patch fix has been applied.
P.S. You are lucky I had my alt in the Radar site, so I would have petitioned for imaginary loot that despawned too.
P.S2. Be happy I'm not charging for body shop and paint work for survived drones.
P.S3. Is there some particular reason I can't reconnect with my drones after re logging in a couple of minutes, but rather make me slow boat and see them pop while i approach?

Each drone... so you fill up the GM's petition boxes making everyone else's legitimate petitions take longer.
Go pod yourself.

Omg I lost 5 tech III minedrillrobots due to my hampster ate the dslphonewire and my robotdrills were custompainted with ferrarired and it costed like 5000 AURiskies who will pay I q·estion make!!!1

Maybe I'll just sum up and send the bill in the end? The issue here why no auto recall and reconnect. I'm sure i saw this in suggestions couple of times.

I'd tell you to gb2wow, but they don't compensate you for items lost to disconnects there either:P
The drone recall feature would be neat, but its not worth pestering GMs over. Try and find a thread for it on the suggestions forums and hopefully someone on the CSM will pick it up.

This isn't true.
There have been some kind of network tolerance changes with this last patch that are causing heaps of disconnects.
Every time one of our fleets warps/jumps you see people shedding off from the warp "ball".
There's also the dual client bug where the one in the background (not focus) still has DC issues.
And for me, hitting "reply" on mail crashes mine.
(yes, I've cleared cache). the in-game mail system SUCKS.
Go back to the old bulletin board one. It was superior.

Now that was quite hilarious comment... but actually the client crashes only when travelling minimized/alt tabbed.... it is known issue... don't do that... at least drones out in the open... before the patch...

drones are ******ed as it is you really think they will be smart enough to fly back to your drone bay automatically? if they ever add this they probably **** it up and your drones will return to you bay every time they kill something

Instead of alt-tabbing clients, put them in window mode, then click the little square up in the corner to make it go full screen. The task bar is left exposed, have the client name thingy option on so it identifies your clients on the task bar. Then all you have to do is click on the desired client's task bar button. This is how I play, and I haven't had one crash while others have. Just a suggestion anyway.
And it's kind of silly to petition about something minor like drones. I lose drones all the time because my ISP sucks and I have connection issues at times, but I don't get up in an uproar over them. I just buy more and move on.

Seriously guy? Why are people so suprised when they lag or get disconnected in a MMORPG? They're Drones, go buy some more. And stop making stupid threads, Blondie.
