Quick question - What do you plan to do with an MMO FPS that is on a console, when said console is replaced with the new console?
Reason I ask is that If us EVE players on PC are reliant on the Console Dust guys to take sov, make isk from planets etc. How will we continue to hire mercs after the Dust player base begins switching over to the next console (xbox 720 / PS4) and doesnt bother playing DUST any more because the new games Look better?

Dust is a free download. So when the PS4 comes out, all you have to do is download the new client. All your stuff should be linked to your account info.

CCP offers Dust for free anyway.. so they download the version for the PS4 and keep going.
As for popularity.. Eve should do fine without it according to CCP.

Yeah, but they will be less accurate, taped and glued together and every 100 or so rounds it will explode and kill you

Dust514 is one of the reasons I expect that Incarna will 'eventually' allow firefights in stations.
Play nice while you butcher each other.

Or at least offer some sort of FPS PvE if they won't let us shoot each other in stations. There was a thread a while back where a dev was asking for ideas in regards to PvE and Incarna...like running around stations or something killing rats or some crap. One can only hope I guess....that would be epic though imo if we could get some form of both.
