Edited by: Ow FxxK on 16/02/2005 11:45:55 EW changes
It would be nice to spend time changing this after other things have been seen to, like corp tax, with any new changes we are going to get some bugs, and more bugs we dont need, other items like corp tax need implementing and to much change is not good.
EW does need slite attention but cant we wait untill other more important stuff has been sorted plz

corp taxes wont be that hard to add on and the EW changes are already on the test server so hopefully the big bugs will be worked out of it by the time we get the next patch next month - which would be helpful if htey put up the supplementry corp taxes as well

Edited by: Lig Lira on 16/02/2005 11:53:23 I didn't realise there were issues with EW, it's a defensive measure and if it doesnt work properly you may as well be flying a shuttle.
edit: spelling
Which PA character are you?
That's no flying saucer, that's my ass! |

Well I seem to remember that some bugs will always get passed testing due to the diff between the test server and the main player server, so expect bugs.

And it would be nice if we new if thay were going to put on corp tax, or if thay have any time scale as to when.
Why chuck in more changes and unknown problems to come at this time, you can bet that problems will arize with the EW changes and then we will have to wait untill more problems are sorted.
Cant we have some sort of player voting to see what we would like fixed/implemented next

CCP i guess want to retain some control over what they feel is needed within the game in terms of additions and it must be a tough choice as to what to add etc. Sure they have talented staff but without more paying players you cant add more staff to speed the process up - the test server will no doubt pick up most of the major bugs and then us players can pick up bugs, exploits etc and report them and have them fixed in minor maintence and updates etc

I agree that what you say is veary valid, just that with so many changes and old bugs still not fixed or important options like corp tax not yet ingame it seems like us players are just bug hunters at times.
For some players this will be a welcome update and I can see why,
But I have been hurt by changes in the past and some times to much change to fast can leave a bad taste in your mouth, always having to adapt is mostly good for the game, but to much change can have a bad impact on playability so we need a time out now and then to ajust to the new content/changes before the next batch of bugs and content

well it appears they are pushing ahead with major changes and just fixing bugs on the fly as long as the major ones are dealth with and when minor ones picked up if they can be fixed on the fly then it should work for 90%
And heck being ongoing bug hunters can keep the game fresh - better make sure you keep insurance up and some ISKs in case you lose something or get podded etc
The corp tax is a niggling issue and once put in will make a lot more people happy so that should be a 4 week prirority.
The game is constantly evolving and a certain quickness and moving ahead will make this game competitive and the rest can be hashed on the fly as it occours

True, as longe as its not killing gameplay.

I dont pay to bug hunt all the time I pay to play
I get fed up with changes when other things need attention first, nothing stopping ccp from asking what changes to implement in a poll etc, give us a choice, if the vote siad do EW first ill shut up and go play with my roids

Just a thought, but does this mean that when more bugs come into play poor noobs get more ganking and spanking due to low skills and high noobishness This must make for happy pirates
