Hey,
Does anyone know how much standing I will loose if I cream the Gallente starships in the first encounter of this mission?
And is it worth it? Do they drop anything decent?

I run caldari missions but its supose to be the same thing. You arent supose to loose any standings killing them and the loot drop should be the same as belt rats afaik. I always blow them up.
The caldari navy is cind of wimpy too

didnt get a standing hit for the lvl3 type and best i got was a dual 250mm 'scout'.... and one of the gallente navy megathrons dropped a 800mm autocannon

you do get standing hits, but not for your faction. It are hits to your corp standing.
If you are doing missions for duvolle, and go and cream the convoy then you will get standing hit for duvolle.

Same here.
Was amused to note the friendly convoy is now actually listed as an optional mission target!
btw what happens if Customs catch you with the contraband tags (e.g. Amarr Navy tags in Amarr space)? There was no fine, standing or confiscation penalty listed on show info, so what do Customs do? Give you a dirty look?

Also they show up in red on the scanner, like regular valid targets
I'm running missions for Fed Navy atm and have had Sabotaged recently a couple of times and have not had any discernable hits on standings when i check the detailed transactions for corp etc.
The Gallente one seems quite friendly, if you start with the smallest ships (at range) and work your way up you can pick them off one at a time until you start on the 'throns, then all 3 will get ****ed at you
The Caldari and Minmattar versions, once you've taken a pop at any ship they all aggro you, that came as a bit of a surprise the first time
Not had the Amar one.

Got the gallente lvl4 sabotaged....
I don't really get what's the logic of having the option to kill your own faction.... am I missing something?
