Senex Legio (SENX) is a growing 0.0 corporation with a cozy little home in Pure Blind. We have sov. in a number of systems, and we own our own station. We're a group of older, like minded gamers that realize real life > eve life and that 'stuff' happens. Cats catch on fire, your significant other insists it's time to go, you run out beer. Stuff happens.. And it's O.K.
Senex Legio is a PvP focused corporation dedicated to playing in EVE's 0.0 territorial warfare environment. We are allies of Wildly Inappropriate and hang out with the Deklein and Pure Blind Coalitions. What does this mean for you? Hostiles within a few jumps, capital engagements, fleet battles, small roams....you name it, we are in it. The only Trit we mine is off other peoples hulls. Good times are being had by all. As an added bonus we have all the nasties of EVE around us. Pandemic Legion, NC., Evoke and Russians. Germans and Russians....its WWII all over again! You know how that ended. You can be part of a corp that puts you into some of the best action EVE has to offer.
We are a founding member of Get off My Lawn (LAWN). The corps in LAWN are mostly exclusive to mature players. No longer to you have to listen to an FC whose voice cracks as he croaks out his limited vocabulary. No longer must you put up with their teenage angst.
We have been closed to recruitment for a long time. However, we have decided to open recruitment to a limited number of new players. These spots are allocated in a mix between low and high skillpoint players. In terms of low skillpoint players, we ask applicants interested in joining to have a minimum of 6 Million Skillpoints (lower on a per applicant basis) and be at least 23 or over (to be fair, most of our member are quite a bit older than 23). We have commenced a mentorship program to ensure that each new member is integrated into the corporation and alliance.
What does SENX offer you as a pilot?
A good group of mature gamers to hang out with.
Daily PvP operations deep in hostile space.
Group of long time 0.0 pilots to fly with.
Various Isk making operations.
A drama and blame free environment. Leave your e-peen (they made me write this word...I am too old to know what it means) at the door and bring your biggest autocannon (or laser).
TS3, Killboard and Active forums.
A well organized and stable corporation/alliance (if you have been around, you know how rare that is).
Requirements
6 Million Skillpoints (lower on a per applicant basis), age 23 or over.
A team player willing to play with and for the corporation.
You must be willing to use TS during fleet ops.
You must have 7 cats, 3 dogs, 9 children, a sail boat, and a degree in hydrodynamic engineering.
You must be active (this doesn't mean we have minimum activity levels, just that you need to play this game on a somewhat regular basis and when you do play, you would want to be a part of what we do).

Quite a few of us are also graduate students or post-grads so I can say firsthand that it is an excellent corp for those who are in their mid-twenties, starting careers, and just want to have a great time playing Eve.

There are markets in 0.0 just like there are in empire. People use freighters, jump freighters, transport ships, etc., to bring stuff out from empire.

We have people in our pub channel often throughout the day, with the highest population in NA evening times. Feel free to drop in anytime!
If you'd like to know a specific timeframe, I am in and out now until around 5pm PST, then likely on for a bit steady for a few hours.

Is it possible to do some PVE stuff in your neck of the woods? I like the mix of PVP then some PVE to earn a few ISK/LP's to fund the PVP.
I'm really attracted to the "Well organized and stable corporation/alliance" part, I think that's huge part that is often overlooked in EVE.

Most people do a bit of PVE to keep the wallets full. We are organizing some WH or Incursion ops to help people out as well. So the answer is yes, but the primary focus of everyone that joins needs to be PvP.
