Let me introduce you all to Dusk for iPhone.

Dusk provides character tracking, skill planning, skill queue notifications and a load more in a quick and accessible way.
Some of you may notice a resemblance to a certain now unavailable iPhone App, it was when I feared it may stop working that I decided to create Dusk. For me the one thing Capsuleer provided above all others was that it was quick to use and the information I was after was there when I wanted it, something I've tried hard to reproduce with Dusk. So all I can say is I hope you find Dusk as useful as Capsuleer was to me. |

I know it is not official yet, but I figured I would give you a heads up. Dusk crashes on initial loading in iOS5. EveUniverse does the same thing. Looks like it dies at initial API loading, but I am not sure since I do not know what is being loaded at the start of the app. (Making the leap to crashing when API starts loading because both Dusk and Eve Universe dies as soon as it starts looking for external-to-the-app data.)

Very nice program, thank you!
There is a small bug, though. Dusk shows to much cash... The digits themselves are right, but the magnitude is wrong. Instead of 109 M it shows 10.9 B. Wish I had the magnitude more ;) Something went awry with the places of the dots and comma dividers in the number :)

Hi all. Thanks for the feedback. Yes I'm award of these issues. The incorrect balance will be fixed very shortly. It is a region issue. If your region is set to English it works fine but not if any region where dots and commas are swapped. This will be fixed ASAP.
The iOS5 Beta issue I'm also aware of, it of course will be fixed as well but I can't upgrade to iOS5 just yet as it's too buggy and I only have one device so need to stick with the majority version for the time being. Closer to iOS5 release date I'll make sure a fix is ready.

Very nice app.
However there seems to be a bug with the skill planner. When a skill with untrained prerequisites is queued in, the planner correctly inserts the needed prerequisite skills in order above it. Upon the next refresh the skill queue is shuffled, with the skill you put in appearing above it's prerequisite skills.
The work around is manually entering all the skills in order but as this planner is the main reason I downloaded and donated to this app it's pretty annoying.
Hopefully this is fixable as it will be a 5 star app if so.

Hello!
Looks nice a nice app indeed, but the dot/comma issue seems to affect Swedish users as well. I can't even load my character, I get the error message:
Failed To Load
Unknown char: .
When i set my iPhone to English region it works fine. Looking forward to the next update! :)

Like the app. Neat and simple. Basically what I'm looking for.
One thing though, I'm not able to make skill plans. I'm not sure if I'm just not getting it but there is no button to create a plan. I can only clear it. OS version is 4.3.4.
Let me know if you need anything else to troubleshoot.

Thanks for the great feedback everyone. Roc you guys did an awesome job with Capsuleer, that app helped me out no end when I first started playing EVE! I have enormous respect for you and Sam.
Dren, thanks for detailed bug report I've got a fix ready to go and I'll be submitting to the App Store in the next week or so.
Reave, urrgh that same dot/comma bug seems to be affecting Swedish users more severely, I've tested the fix with my phone set to Swedish and it fixes that "Failed to load" issue too, so again with the update you should see that issue fixed.
Zifrian, you can add skills to your plan by pressing the "Training Plan" button on the skill detail screen for the skill you're interested in. I've had quite a bit of feedback on this exact issue, if anyone has a good suggestion on how this could be improved I'd be glad to hear it.

Ahh ok. It's just not intuitive where to go I guess. Maybe just do a simple help screen? I couldn't find one so didn't know if there was an issue.
I really like having it though. Great addition.

Dusk version 1.1 was submitted to the AppStore yesterday, with any luck you'll see it available for download in the next few days, enjoy.
