I often considered you the best of my enemies that I never fought Silas Vitalia. Certainly your commitment and courage made you very dangerous and beyond that, interesting. I believe you are too talented for the mind-burned ranks of the Amarrian clergy.
Your dreams cannot die Silas Vitalia because like you they are immortal. They can shimmer and evolve and attain new beauty shedding false illusions and baseline conceits. They will rise with wings of fury and ride on the cosmic winds anew. This I know because I recognise a comrade in the shape of an foe and these dreams have a way of coming true.
Transcend the blood and fire, survive it, cherish the lessons learned and look anew on the shape of reality in New Eden. Look to your heart and soul and the music that longs to be free.

Silas,
It's been several years since we last worked together, but based on the pilot I knew you to be back then, I'm sure none of the afore mentioned events are attributable solely to your actions as a CEO.
You must understand my friend, that things will rarely always be smooth sailing in an active corporation where one person's dreams shape the destiny for other pilots. Quite honestly, I tend to find that only when we're at our lowest, do the best results arise and new hopes for the future begin to flourish. As a Chief Executive Officer, youĈd be bored if everything worked like a dream. I know I would!
Do not do anything rash, Silas, for you're born to lead and will never feel satisfied working for someone else - of that I'm certain.
If you need to talk, I'm here.
Tigerfish.

My my, she tenders her resignation and gets nothing but job offers, all but possibly one from enemies to her former charge. I may have little love for the woman but even I have more respect for her than to think she'll 'cross over' after the loss of her stewardship.
But perhaps, Vitalia, you can reconsider your reply to my last message, now that suddenly, well, free.

I find myself in the interesting position of receiving a plethora of well-wishes and consolations from my 'enemies,' and yet mostly a wall of silence from my 'friends,' those whom I supposedly might count on during difficult times. That I spent much effort these last months, obviously wasted, in trying to mend fences and strengthen bonds with my brethren, only to be abandoned now by them.... this speaks volumes.
An interesting 24 hours.
I think some of you might have correctly surmised that my resignation was not entirely of my own design.
Internally the dust is still settling. Cults of personality being what they are, and me being who I am, there has been quite a bit of internal conflict amongst our non-capsuleer crew and staff. There were several near-riots on some corporate vessels and our planetary / station staff are still choosing sides, as it were. Of course the majority of our staff are staying with the Vanguard and will follow the new leadership like the good soldiers they are. Those who have benefited the most from my leadership, and who see our true potential, are staying in my employ. To his credit Mokk has allowed those still loyal to myself the freedom to transfer to my facilities and ships, for now. Concord paperwork being what it is we have both done our best to keep things in order during any transitional period. I would say more, but considering the circumstances I will honor the "agreements" I have made in private while I am still under the KPV banner.
Now that I have some time (oodles, apparently) I will respond to a few of you.
Originally by: Revan Neferis Renounce ... those who made you the failure that you have become.
I haven't the space or bandwidth to list them.
Originally by: Nick Bete ...of the null sec isk pie then just maybe things would have worked out differently for the treacherous witch.
Goodbye and good riddance to another loudmouthed slaver.
I'm not going anywhere, filth. And despite recent embarrassments I will remind most of you worms that I've done more in the last few months than most of you will do in your entire specs of lives. I'm still ludicrously wealthy, famous, un-bowed, un-humble, un-remorseful, and with plenty of resources still at my disposal. This is merely a setback on my path.
Originally by: Graelyn ... There are reasons that I declined.
Interesting. More wasted efforts trying to better people despite their own efforts to remain mired in mediocrity.

Aww, well that's just not fair. Here I am seriously thinking about boosh-vouching you into waffles and you think I'm insulting you by making the offer. If you're going to be a big meanie about it, however, I will tell you the brutally honest version of why it might be a good place for you.
I don't loathe you Silas, so don't get all uppity. I never did, you just have a problem taking some smack talk. I never roleplayed, I just found myself at war with you once. I think you have a lot of potential to be a good spaceship captain. Right now, you're not doing so hot because you failed to learn the basics of good spaceship captaining; everything from fits, to tactics, to fleet doctrine. Face it, you're pretty bad at EVE. Still using beam Apocs? Drakes? Exactly. You also have an enormous ego and are hilariously smug, but you have no reason to be. You just got curb stomped in two different campaigns in just a couple months, and are losing the alliance tournament. And you're not famous, at least not to anyone except on this forum.
So. What you need is to sit back, drink a mojito or whatever drink you prefer, and kick it for a bit. You need to be humble, you need someone pointing out how terrible you are, and you need practice. Hence why I suggested waffles. ---

Originally by: Andreus Ixiris It's proof, if any were needed, that the True Amarr themselves - not their culture, you understand, the people themselves - are really just like us.
Oh, that's surprising. You see, this actually shows that we are still better than some other people. Honour, humility... do those ring a bell? Ironically enough, you're still in charge of your little failure of a ragtag gallente loyalist group after a couple of years of not achieving anything, so... I think your comments on this matter are pure irony gold.
Keep up the good work, mr. Ixiris.

While I do not have information of all that's going on in the Vanguard. I do know it takes courage to post about it publically that one seems to have failed in the eyes of her once loyal peers. We all make mistakes in our decisions, most of us even make big dumb ones sometimes, but when a CEO does it, it's all a conspiracy, and purposeful, even tho he or she never meant it to happen like that.
Silas Vitalia, wherever you go, may the tough time you recieved the last months not get the better of you, but over time be looked upon as an enriching experience on how a capsuleer is still human on so many levels. Mayfate guide you to a better tomorrow.
For Sinjin Mokk & the Khanid Provincial Vanguard, may you fight back your opponents from your patch of space & build your capsuleer organisation in the image you desire. But keep in mind that when the board of leaders make a mistake, they rarely ever do it to hurt the corporation on purpose. usually it's just that, a mistake by an error of judgement. -------------- Cleaning up wrecks others leave behind! A sad moment in the life of the Provincial Vanguard.
Milady Silas Vitalia.
Your deeds and guidance at the head of the KP-V is a time I will remember with fondness in the future years, I continue to take inspiration from your dedication and drive.
While, it is true, we have time when our star is tarnished with a black tar if this star is truly bright then it takes but time for the tar to wear and the light to seep through again.
May Trinity bless you Silas. If you want to talk, let me know - the Mashtor and I will always be here.

Lady Vitalia, I commend you for having the courage to place consequences on your actions. Failures are failures, and to take responsibility for them is just and proper. If only more capsuleers would do so.
Those who live under a master often fail to realize the pressure put on the master by the obligation to take care of those under his wing. A similar thing is true for being a CEO or alliance Executor. The underlings complain and chafe about simple tasks, while the master is under a lot of pressure running back and forth to take care of his many responsibilities while trying to maintain a proper humble disposition.
I offer you this piece of scripture:
Only through many hardships Is a man stripped to his very foundations And in such a state Devoid of distractions Is his soul free to soar And in this He is closest to God - The Scriptures, Book of Missions Verses 42:5
Lady Vitalia, I would recommend you take hold of this opportunity God has given you with both hands. ____
