Me: Two accounts, 8-9 million sp each. One's a miner/hauler, is in a hulk and can fly an orca. The other is more of a PVP/combat pilot with 0.0 and WH experience. I'm 42 years old and have a lot of real life responsibilities, but enjoy getting on and going at it a few hours a week.
My father: Finally pried him away from World of Warcraft and Rift to try Eve out. He needs a corporation that has some good missioning, light pvp, and other operations so he can really learn to play the game, and have folks to run with when I'm not on.
A few other notes. We are looking for a place where he can learn, I can continue to improve, and we can get in all sorts of trouble while having fun.
Another important note. We aren't crazy about it, but we do lean to the conservative side, so a corporation that takes a PG13 approach would be appreciated.

We're just getting the web site going but we have a lot of game experience online pretty frequently. It's not a perfect match but it's a scam free place for him to start and when he's bored we'll harbor no hard feelings when/if he decides to move on. We're actually planning to focus on helping people get going as we grow. Check the FAQ and such, the sites still building. Look me up in game if you have questions that are not answered by the faq yet.

We See Dead People, est. 2007, has remained a small corp (25-50 members) for the last four years. and are ready to expand. The first two years we lived in low sec, living out of cans as we where very nomadic. The last two years we have lived primarily in null space. We have held our own sov space most of those two years, and was very active with our alliance, doing major campaigns. All members in corp are US players and are on from east coast to Hawaii time zones. (22:00 - 8:00 eve time) We want to build a strong US corp, that has a major impact in Eve.
The one problem I see in eve, is finding enough US players together in one spot to have a major impact in the game. The one complaint I hear over and over again, is the lack of people online to fly with. Most fleet ops, in most alliances seam to be during euro times. Our alliance is active during our time zones. Took us three tries to find.
If every US player looking for a corp where to join, we would have plenty of people online when you are online. All types of pilots welcome. We have everything sov space has to offer, ratting, mining, havens, sanctums, plexes, stations, pvp (plenty of targets), etc. Our alliance space is pretty stable, still get the occasional nuet coming in.
So, what do you think? Give us a shot, what you got to loose. We have nothing against non US players. If they play eve the same time as us, we would be more then happy to accept their apps. We just want to insure that members well be online during our time zones. Nobody likes playing alone.

Look up Intersun Freelance, Senior members ,Real Life comes first,all timezones heavy pvp and industrial arms without any bs.

If you're interested, One Night Stand is looking for more people to join. Plan on doing PVP on weekends and whatever random opportunity that strikes during the week.
We have a decent core group that have played with each other for at least a year, but just recently reformed. It would be a great place for your father to learn while your not on. We do joke around on downtimes, but during pvp ops its serious fleet coms.
And we understand RL does take priority (every now and then), but as long as you pull your share you'll be fine with us.
