Capacitor hardwires, Squire CR4 and CC4. No slaves though, carriers are expendable suicide logistics and the pilots usually get podded.

@Target painter :: What would you say on the use of low grade sensor strength implants?

LG sensor implants are really compelling for frig pilots, but for carrier pilots I'd say they're near useless. HG implants are pretty cheap, so they're pretty replaceable for when you inevitably get smartbomb podded by your corp mates. |

Liang hit it on the head again. Unlike almost every implant type out there, LG sensor implants are additive rather than multiplicative. This is great for frigates (because going from 7.5 to 18.5 is a huge increase) but almost inconsequential for capital ship pilots (Not much difference between 72 and 79.5).
If you're going to pay for the sensor set, go high grade. Personally, I wouldn't bother. The only implant "set" I'd really consider for a capital would be a low-grade Talisman set, and even then not in the general case. Enjoy being able to PvP in +3's/+4's. Not everyone gets the option. |

Thanks for the clarification. I though that LG were like HG, but with less of a bonus. So i was right that they would be a useful implant set to have for a carrier?

In my experience, only if you are running a combat (non-triage) or pantheon (spider tanking) carrier. But 90% of the time, you're going to be running triage, so you can't be jammed anyway. If you are flying with a group that uses combat and/or pantheon carriers, by all means keep a set on hand, but I haven't seen many of those groups ever since supercarriers got buffed.

Using lg slaves, Squier CC8, CR8 and a +5% armor ZET500 then. get 2min full cap use from the cap and max cap skills. Cycling mods will give cap for like 3-4atleast in a engagment. Not that bad :)

Crystals don't work with capital shield boosters.

They help with an armor tanked carrier though.
Like 2 years ago when I thought it was cool I had a carrier I got +3% implants for cap and shield and whatever.

It's not totally unheard of for Nids to be shield tanked.
