In EFT I have confirmed that a Nyx is the ideal level 5 mission ship. The Resists are as follows 91.4% 93.1% 94.9% 95.7% Shield 85.1% 80.7% 80.7% 73.2% Armor Total DPS is 12500 pure Drone Damage Per Second. This fit is Ungankable because there is no way that anybody can do 26,215,248.00 Damage before Concord Shows up or I nuke them with my drones. I ask how much would it cost to buy a ship like this? I plan to get into one once my skills finish training so I can start doing level 5s and making some real money. The Nyx is a super-capital class ship. It does not function like your normal ship. Nor does it function like a regular capital class ship. All capital class ships, with the exception of non-combat capital ships, such as the freighter and Orca (Rorqual is not exempt), cannot enter high-sec space (systems with a security status of 0.5 and up). On the flip-side, Concord does not respond in low-sec or null-sec space (0.4 or below). As such, the Nyx cannot be operated in any area where Concord would assist. Hence the first reply, which was meant to heavily imply that anyone wanting to chew through your 26 million effective hitpoints would have all the time in the universe to do it. And they would. The Nyx would be easy to probe out, and a very, very, very juicy target. As soon as anyone saw you, they'd get an entire gang out to hunt you down, pop your fighters/drones as fast as you can release them, possibly even hot-drop a capital fleet on top of you. There would be NOTHING you could do but sit and watch your multi-billion ISK ship explode. I won't get started on capital travel (They can't use warp gates between systems, for starters. You can take it from there). This is all common knowledge for anyone who knows anything about capitals. This is not a problem... If they can't use Gates then how am I supposed to get to my mission systems? Also I seriously doubt people will care that I am doing missions in a Nyx... I mean Unless they hot drop an entire fleet on me of course. However the chances of them dropping an entire fleet on me or being able to call their friends before I Pawn them with my drones is slim. The way I see it the risk is not that high as long as I watch local and look on the D scanner for combat probes. Seeing as you can't dock it... you can't get max insurance. Also... if you are looking for why running lvl 5's in a supercarrier is a bad idea, I recommend looking up what "Hotdrop" means. Or, if you are too lazy to google it, just go watch clear skies 3, there is a great visual example near the end of what hotrop is. -Arazel

Even if I get hot dropped as you say I could always warp away at any time. They could chase me around system if they want but they will never catch me before I am safe to log out and wait until they are all gone. I think what your all forgetting is that if I buy this ship and fly it in low sec or null I will be attracting ALOT of attention... Attention is good... Better yet I should fly it into VFK and blow up some goons. They are to incompetent to hot drop and too disorganized to coordinate a counter attack.
