hi,
Are C2 Wormholes with a C1/C2 & lowsec static in demand?
If I put up a well defended minnie POS, what is the probability that I will be attacked?

Just go for it. Anyone that finds you would have to make a considerable decision to go to the effort of bringing enough ships in (through crappy holes) to attack you so it's likely you could be there some time.

Another thought I just had- what would happen if, instead of fitting mostly guns on the POS, I fitted it up with mainly hardeners to give it crazy resists- would that be a more effective deterrence than the guns would be?

crazy resists and ecm, it guarantees it will be a pain in the arse for people to pew pew since they will have to be attentive.

LS statics are great, but all the C1/C2 WHs will be occupied unless they have NS statics.

Most of them are occupied. I found a c1 w/ a lowsec static a month ago and have been living in it ever since. I must have gotten lucky though because I found it in my home lowsec system and didn't have to go scan out other systems. I'm sure if you look hard enough though you could find one in less than a week

I happened to come across a C2 with HS/C1 statics about a week ago that only had 2 inactive towers. Sadly I was not in a position to occupy and offer it for sale. Woulda probably been worthwhile. Had a ton of sites in it, too. So while empty systems with decent statics are quite rare, they do exist. At least 1 did.
