I am running level 5 missions daily and I have noticed that as of a few days ago every storyline you get ends up with a new agent. It started out in the same system and is now, 3 storylines later, 12 jumps out. Is it CCP's intentions to eventually make us jump 50 systems to do a storyline? Also this last storyline agent could not be accessed through pure low sec, so as a low sec person and the security status that brings you had to pass through high sec.
What gives CCP?

No experience with level 5s, but I don't need experience with anything to tell you that a sample size of FOUR is too low to start asking questions. I can at least assure you that level 4s are unchanged.

+1, there was this one time, after doing 16 combat missions I got a mining storyline, wtf CCP!

I am not the only one in my corp running level 5's and so far we all have had the same storyline path, so to speak. Every time a little further out. For s long as I remember it has been the closest agent that gives you the storyline so all you really need is a sample of one to see something has changed.

Just got a new storyline and it is now 15 jumps out. Next will probably be between 18 and 20 jumps out. Getting rediculous.

I've noticed the same thing. It sends you to so many different systems. I haven't found any information about it from ccp. Some of my corpies have petitioned it with the response of this was filed under the wrong category. </3 CCP!

Did you petition Stuck - Mission in progress ? Did you mention that you are getting a different storyline agent each time and this is not how the mechanic usually works.
I would also escalate if its ignored / written off.
It sounds like the mechanic that figures out which agent is available is broken, and thinks your nearest is still holding a storyline for you.
That or CCP is trying to stem the tide of LP gained from lvl5's, it makes others lp worthless.

Please keep us informed with the response you get from your bug report, it seems quite silly that they cannot even give a proper response on something that has always been a certain way and not until very recently changed, without notice. If it is not an intended change then I REALLY see no reason to avoid giving a proper reply.
