So he either was stupid enough to transport 8 bil worth of modules all at once, and worse still with the same character he did this auction with...or, it wasn't a legitimate auction to begin with. My money is on the latter...no one could be that stupid.

This guy is a complete idiot, he hasnt even ever had anything like this,
This guy bid on 4 items on an auction of mine, then left the face of the earth and they were stuck on escrow for 3 days under his name,
I think he needs to look good so tries to have decent stuff or look like he's bidding on decent stuff to be 'Better than he is' but if he wants to better himself all he has to do is roll in dog Sh1tE

transporting it all at once would be stupid enough.
starting the auction before they are safely in empire is yet another thing.
but this is pure bull**** tbh, there were no mods.
tbh, i think this should constitute a forum transgression and get him a ban. easy enuff to check with some gm help tbh.

An other sham auction ?
Its really getting to the stage were something needs to be done about it, meaby ccp should introduce a licencing system were only licensed peeps can set up auctions and they hold all items in trust before auction starts. This would stop all the scams, fake sales, double bids with alts etc., and the auctioneers would charge a fee for the auction and take a small percentage of the total sale like in real life.
Something needs to be done !

Just need to end the alt auctions.
Let people post themwith mains with a reputation.
but tbh, i didnt even come in here and tried bidding cause if anyone would have had 19 commander/officer items from two-three different npc types something is fishy.
and the guy already sounded like a total nub to begin with.

Not us, saw ths thread and couldnt resist checking our killboard stats for this stuff.

tbh, it looks like a poor attempt at being funny.
As tanith said, the priginal post (back when it was still there) was of such low quality that the guy looked far too noobish at this to be for real.

Well there ARE people who have this level of a collection. They, however, are (with few exceptions) for more put together than this person appeared to be and have acquired the stuff through purchases, not drops.
