Edited by: Jack Aaron on 15/06/2011 00:25:57 From what i have researched on the net, some hacking group that calls themselves Lulzsec is bragging about being the cause of this incident. They are also claiming credit for the Playstation Network going down a while ago too. I would personally like to see these kinds of malicious hackers prosecuted to the fullest extent of their laws. It's not like they were hacking information that the government was trying to hide or cover up. lol these people took down a few video game servers. lol. and they think themselves epic. "LULZ" is all i have to say about them :)
edit: guess i'm a little late to the party LOL, just repeating what everyone else already seems to know.

Nooo. we don't want to kill them... takes all the fun out of it if your opponent is dead. means they can't appreciate the fact that they have lost... no you strap them into a life support machine, remove their eyelids, pump them full of steroids, and play Disney films to them on an endless loop.

Can you imaging how the WoW kiddies would have reacted? Did you see the YouTube video of that kid whose mom shut off his WoW account??!! Hilarious - and disturbingly sad...

I actually laughed pretty hard when i read this... Because i just recently left WoW to play EVE myself, and one of the reasons i was sick of WoW (aside from cataclysm just being a bad expansion) is the general lack of maturity in the game, something that i find is far less prominent on EVE. In fact less then a month after i downloaded my 14 day trial my brother cancelled his WoW subscription and followed me here.
