Hi everyone,
I'm a student at Aston University, UK. I'm doing a research on Overhyping and I would like to ask for your opinion by filling in this survey http://www.survey.bris.ac.uk/aston/overhype. All the results are anonymous.
I want to research of what players think about it in general and how it might have affected them. I'm interested in your personal experience and view of Video Game Overhyping. I would be very grateful if you could take a bit of your time to complete it.
Yes, I do play EVE online, with two accounts. I have had personal experience with Overhyping of games and I wanted to find out about others - did they have similar experience and what did they think of it.

So will you post the final results in this thread ?
The threads such quizzes seldom bother to even re-acknowledge it once it's done, let alone provide the complete compiled results to the people that basically made it happen.

I believe I can share the results. This is more or less an exploratory survey, as I've looked over academic sources and there is very little published over the video game industry, unless you are willing to pay for research company results. I can provide the results if anyone in interested, but that's likely to be early july (first week or so). My account might be running out (you can't post with non active account right?), so might not get to post them here, so mail me at [email protected] and I will send the results after its done.
