I dont really read this forum much anymore, and have refrianed from posting.
But summin made me smile today, thought I'd share it.
R-K declare war on norad. 8 corps and counting have left, to escape this war. They dont fight, very few of them can be found, they are dead imho. Its a matter of great concern for R-K leadership, boredom of trigger happy pilots isn't easy to supress. 
They retaliate with war on R-V (yawn). R-V (our mother corp) isn't the industrial *****cat it once was, with its own integrated defence force taking care of small problems (like Norad), leaving R-K to mop up and large ones (aint got any right now :( ).
Imperium is formed. (new alliance headed up by R-V R-K VOTF Supremacy)
The Norad "war" (not much killing going on tbh, R-V killing way more of them than the other way round) on R-V is transferred to the Alliance.
Now they got a whole Alliance to deal with.
Made me smile.

I'll take a guess and say they left due to internal problems. (or they planned this a long time ago... )

Well Yakuza only used the splitting of norad to further their own gains. ELITE DIS corporation merged into you, and i believe another 3 corporations did, there were promises of coming to Outer Ring to 'save' it but i have yet to see a force of more than two frigates from you.

People and their asumptions..
Don't interpret corps 'leaving' the alliance as surrendering, dear.
Waffles may have left earlier than originally planned due to the R-K war and some subsequent loss.
But others are not leaving, it's we who're kicking them because they're dead.

To summarize, for the simple minded in our midst. NORAD is still very much alive and kicking, you're just too narrowminded or otherwise hindered to see it.
Having dumped the excess weight of the 'deadcorps' have really been a refreshing experience (we're still not done, mind), and add to that, we don't have a 'claimed' home to hold us down, we can move around so much more freely. Picking off crybaby IMP people when opportunity arises.
We very much enjoy the wars, be it guerilla fare against IMP in 0.0 or the more recent R-K -> NORAD and now the NORAD -> R-V(IMP) one. The only thing working aganst that one right now, is monetary costs VS. the added benefit of being able to annoy your people in Empire aswell.
Whatever the future holds for the 'official' war, we'll still annoy the hell out of you in OR, whether you care to acknowledge that 'to the public' behind that smacktalking facade of yours or not. 
We don't care if you statistically kill more ships than we do to you, that's not the point, and if you or anyone else think it is, .

Honestly, we feel NORAD's pain, afterall we've been there before. Fact of the matter is though, you've lost 8 + member corporations, you are no longer in control of your own space, and sadly, your alliance member count in total, whether it be to internal conflicts or external, is now sub 400.
(We've heard this all before, sounds all to familiar)
Now i'm not sure if those are valid facts, some might say yes, some might say no. A matter of opinion really. Bottom line is killing anyone in this game is in fact quite difficult.
Stand proud, stand strong, do what you must to survive. You are already doing this well, as we can't for the life of us find a fair amount of NORAD targets in and around empire and non empire based systems.
Keep in mind though, it is afterall a game and we each have our own agendas and goals. Goodluck to all, as always, lots of fun

Because its more fun to pick on filthy screaming carebears! When we get a post like this on the forum, where the poor alliances (omgbuhu) are getting raped and pillaged by the ebil pie-rats, when they just wanna be left alone.. it confirms one thing.

I never knew that Outer Ring needed any rescueing. Since time I've been there, O.R.E. seems to have a pretty good grasp of it.
As far as NORAD dying, wah, sure maybe. But xCA ain't the cause. Maybe the catalyst, but not the cause.
I for one am really ****ed off at xCA/Imperium for moving into OR, because thanks to them I have to keep donating money to CCP 
I would've quit EvE if it wasn't for you guys

Needless to say, NORAD 'dying' or whatever you want to call the change that started to occur many many months ago was great and in most cases needed, I and friends, we're having the time of our lives, the most fun we've had since the EVE War, so heh, buuuhhhuh on us truely..
And please comfort fisty, he almost seems to be loosing his mod. strip miner 2's along with his ships on a daily basis.

So what? Those of us who are left are having a blast fighting you guys, win or loose. How else could I have ever participated in a guerrilla war in my lifetime? Except for the smacktalk, it has been a real good time in OR lately.
