Sorry I missed the discussion and conclusions, so can someone update me on the DDOS?
Did Atlas get Lulzsec to do it? And if so was it just one rogue in Atlas or a general alliance decision?
I'd be interested to know!

No it wasn't, but I'd love to see the fellow 'claiming' responsibility to get perma-banned across his accounts just to see his tears and bitterness reach unprecedented levels.

is there a main thread where this is being discussed or is this it?
from what i can see there doesn't seem to be alot of discussion about the DDOS attack... could it be that CCP is ****ing itself over this recent event?

Na, everyone is in fear now they could pull that stunt again, so nobody is touching Atlas. There was even a message somewhere from CCP Hammer about this. Can't find the link right now tho.. too busy changing passwords. They control Minecraft too, you know?

yeah and some escapist online magazine as well from what i have heard. i've notified my credit card company and altered security options as well.
it just seems like CCP is taking the Sony path when it comes to dealing with it, and we all know how that panned out lol

Yeah sure.. not.
I haven't changed my password since account creation (I know I should have). However I do not use it anywhere else.
Then again I'm not sure if it would be a particular good idea to continually change passwords when there is even the slightest possibility that someone messes with the network traffic between me and the website used to change passwords. I'd rather completely stay away from it and maybe ask the operator to put it offline. Oh wait - that's what CCP did anyways 2 days ago.

Yeah right Atlas would do such thing and post on their own KB that they did it for everyone to hate them  , it was obviously some ****** from lulzboat that wanted to frame them for some reason, maybe an ex-Atlas that had some scores to settle
