went to do some acct management and noticed that the particular page has changed, is this ccp sanctioned? I ask due to recent security concerns.

Yes - there is a new item for the front page of eveonline.com that is taking a few minutes to display, you should see it very shortly!
A thread has been created in Information Portal on this as well (this is what the news item says).

How do we know that the forums havent been compromised and that CCP Alice isnt a LulzSec puppet that posted an account management page spoof?
I want to see something in game...

btw, you really should post news announcements and dev blogs and such....
before changing/releasing stuff rather than the other way around...
