Thanks!
happened when i deleted the 1 in quantity to change the number of BP i have.
OK, I'll get a fix up tomorrow afternoon. I need to work on that section anyway as it's not updating right and I haven't had time to give it attention. Thanks for the reminder heh

Hi, If you have skills overridden and you open the skill menu thing and press 'save' without doing any changes the program will crash when you try to look at a blueprint.
Also, meta 1-4 items don't seem to be in the database. Their price matters in case you use them for invention!

Hrm, I can't reproduce this error. I did notice some weird functionality though with saving, etc. I'll work on this and let you know when I change it so you can see if you get the same error.

Yeah, I know and it's on my list but I'm not sure it's something I'll get to soon. Right now the Meta only adds in the increase in the invention chance.
Thanks for the input!

I did not have an api key entered
I just launch the program, open the skill thing, do nothing then save, then load a BP and it crashes.

Ahh ok. If you didn't have an API key entered, then that's where it's coming from. I'll get a fix done tomorrow. Thanks for the info.

I agree. I'm going to work on making this tab much easier to use soon. It's sorta grown since I started it and having people actually use it has opened up a lot of feedback I wouldn't have otherwise seen. I have an idea on how to fix it and I think it'll be an easy fix so I'll update when I can. Hopefully this weekend. I also have some ideas on making it run faster, but right now I would rather the numbers come out OK.
Thanks for your input. Everyone that has tested has given me plenty of ideas and suggestions that I haven't thought about and I think are great.

Just curious as to what the functionality of the Num BP and Num Lines is on the Blueprints tab. AS far as i can gather changing the Num BP allows me to choose more lines but changing the number of lines doesn't seem to change the mineral calculation.
Example: I have Num BP set to 5 and Lines set to 1 and press refresh to get the mineral total for x number of runs. I changed Lines to 5 and pressed refresh and was given the same amount of minerals as the first calculation when the expected number is 5x.
Or maybe I'm just misunderstanding what that section does.

It is supposed to allow you to figure out times and calcs for what you described but it's not working as intended at the moment. In your example though, if you have 5 lines and you are running 5 bps in those lines, if you have 1 run, it really won't matter since you aren't using 4 of the lines or 4 of the bps. If you updated runs to 5, then you get 5 runs of the item in the same time as 1, but the minerals should be 5 more.
I need to keep working with it to make sure it's working as I wanted or to make it less confusing. I'm trying to add as much of the complexity and functionality as I can without making it horribly difficult to use. This is kind of the issue here heh

Can you be more specific? I store all the prices that come back from eve central already but the numbers used would be set in update prices. So if you want buy prices for minerals and sell prices for ships, then import them separately and adjust as needed.

That's just the thing, I try and store the sell data for minerals and buy data for ships/modules/etc but it at least seems to update all of them to one or the other despite not having any item types other than the ones I want selected. I'll keep trying and get back to you if I find out that I've been making a mistake but I would still like to see both buy and sell prices at the same time.

OK, I just tested it and I'm not seeing the issue you describe. I imported prices for ships at the min sell, and imported prices for minerals at max buy. I went back to the blueprints screen and I see the numbers reflected there correctly. Then I went back and reversed them and it updated correctly.
As far as seeing the buy and sell prices at the same time, I'll think about it but it's not likely to be something I could do in the near future.

looking good so far,
4 requests and 1 bug
REQUEST: when clicked on selected bp and you change to another item, the combobox looses focus, really annoying as u cant just down arrow through bp's.....
BUG: if you down arrow the bp, or select a bp then change BP type, and the combobox currently gets focus however if you press down to select first bp, its still using the old filter type, you have to expand it and actively click a new bp to use the new bp type filter.
REQUEST: ME setting, add an override for ME, so if i set override ME to 20 just use that for every BP that i select
REQUEST: ability to set the ME for components when "calculate optimal" is set....
REQUEST: ME setting and Sub Component ME selection based on "research time" this i've done myself in other code, i dont tend to want to spend more than 30 days researching something so i wrote a subroutine that just runs through ALL the ME of the BP until the research time > X days and then back of ME by one and use that as my ME to calculate with... would be nice to have that for t1 building and the calcualte optimal building :D

you need a maximum runs limiter for the runs box and a checkmark to "use max runs"
Thanks!

Thanks for the input. I'll get that bug fixed soon.
The issue with the blueprint combo....it's something I'm continually looking at and will update when I get something figured out.
On the requests, I'll note them and do what I can when I get time. Some of what you requested is part of ideas I already have so I'll get to them eventually.
Really appreciate the feedback. Thanks!

Hi,
I'd really like to use this tool but when I try to launch it I get a very generic error right on launch. I've downloaded the MS Access installer and then installed IPH but I can't seem to correct this. The worst part is that it doesn't seem to display any reason for the error.
"EVE Isk per Hour has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." and that's it.
Running Windows XP Pro, updated, 32-bit.
Thanks in advance!

I'll update this weekend I hope.
