Some of you may have noticed the counter to sensor dampeners and tracking disruptors actually provide bonuses to the ship fitting them and are not wasted slots. ECCM on the other hand offers not benefit other than to help counter ECM and is not exceptionally good at that so against opponents without ECM it is a wasted slot.
Might it be a good idea to make it offer a minor signature reduction so it is not a wasted slot against none ECM opponents.
There is of course the possible problem of making unprobeable ships easier to fit.

Unscannable/increase scan time is a far greater benefit for people that take advantage of it.

I know what you are getting at, but in my opinion eccm is fine as is.
If your idea was implemented, there may be a change that logistics ships, (that field 2 or more eccm modules most of the time) already having a very low sig radius, would make it even lower and would possibly make logistics slightly overpowered in survivability (although, this might make ewar other than ecm (target painters) a staple tactic in gang warfare.
example: my current onieros has around 130k ehp with resists overheated and is AB fit, so it can absorb alot of dps as it is already. Lowering the sig via the 2x eccm modules i use would make it pretty overpowered.

I see what your saying but the other two are right. Maybe it should be like a small sensor booster. I mean it makes since. If your boosting the power of the sensors to resist being jammed getting farther and faster lock makes since. ----------- Born Amarr, Raised Minmatar.

I needs me some ECCCM to counter your ECCM which is countering my ECM which is countering your EW.
or... wait... um...
Nevermind, I don't have enough mid slots.
