Would you be looking for an industrial player who's just returned to the game? I can fly an ORCA, and if given the word, within 38 or so days I'll be able to fit it with foreman link laser opt II, and mining laser field enhance II.
Looking to do some nullsec/lowsec mining operations, what are the rules regarding who gets what. Obviously the majority should go to corp resources etc etc, but what Cut do the members involved get.
If there is adequate protection for these operations, I'm all for it. At the moment I have ~800M so enough to buy an ORCA, but was wondering if the corporation could provide it.
Would it also be ok if I got 2 friends who are new to the game to join, and eager to learn and become miners for you.
Kind Regards,
Ashley Williamson |

Choke-Hold
' Loving Eve with a death grip on her soft spots'
Choke-Hold (CHOKD) is a new start for a group of accomplished and mid-level pilots. We have experienced players in Leadership, Fleet Command, PvP, PvE, Industrial, Trading, WH Ops & Living, POS Mgt., and most other aspects of the game. Our leadership is mature and skilled in both Real Life & Eve in management, planning, pvp-crawls, training, personnel development, and dodging the law over bogus drug and sex charges.
We have a vision for our corp - and we are completely committed to achieving that vision. Through a planned progression of hard work and an obscene amount of fun and laughter we shall:
* Create an environment for our corp members that ensures success in meeting our visions and goals:
- Have FUN
- Make a lot of ISK
- Train, Mentor & Support new Eve pilots
- Make some more ISK
- Encourage members to focus on those things they crave to accomplish
- Oh yeah, make an obscene amount of ISK
* We oiffer a home for new and skilled pilots through our High Sec and Wormhole operational bases:
- Mining
- Ship and T3 construction in our POS facilities
- WH sites, Mission Running, DED site & Exploration, and other roams
- Low and Null Sec PvP Operations
* (Mid-Term)
- Rinse and Repeat until all the wrinkles fall out.
* (Long-Term) With a large base of players covering all aspects of the game, add a full-time operation in a high-end Wormhole to live (often in stark, naked terror) in End Game play
So JOIN Choke-Hold and get in on the ground floor where your team-work, efforts, skills, dedication, and off-color sense of humor will truly count. JOIN Choke-Hold and help build and guide a corp into something that becomes very special in Eve.
We are LOOKING TO RECRUIT English speaking pilots of every level and focus from around the globe:
- A full API background check will be required (we have been burned - we have learned)
- Team Speak 3 needed for all roams and other group operations
- We tolerate and respect everyone - but we will not accept or keep drama generators, folks with low game ethics, dead-wood, or perverts who don't share.
- 5.0 % Tax Rate
- No trial accounts
- Real Life comes first, but be an active and regular player. Teamwork, Teamwork, Teamwork!

Ahhh hello!!! Was just about to mail you
Take a read about the corp. We are growing steadily, and currently doing some wh ops. If we continue to get the numbers up then we will be looking at null sec roams. All good fun in the pipeline

As a new member of Choke-Hold I'd like to just throw out my first impressions If I may.
Choke-Hold isn't some super serious do something or gtfo corp, you can actually have conversations with important people and make jokes :P ( And be lazy some days )
Choke-Hold is very welcoming of any player skill level, I'm learning news things which I'd forgotten or simply never bothered to look for before. I asked if my 2 friends who are brand new to eve could join and it was no problem, and both of them are happy as can be with the way they've been treated, and they've been laughing non-stop ever since they started reading corp chat.
The members are great for any conversation you could have, I even managed to get onto the topic on my undergraduate degree with somebody who actually has a CS degree, it's great. You can do what you want for the corp, you don't simply get cast as a role which you might be unhappy with. The ethos that anybody can help and make a difference is truly adhered to. I wanted to try logi out, I can only fit armor logi T1 but I was still welcome to help out in wh.
Fellow members are helpful and kind and won't shout at you for not knowing something, they don't treat you like a noobie who can't do anything for them until it's 5 months later. They treat you like a real corp member from day 1.
Sorry for the long post, I just had to get out all the awesome praise I have for guys and their kick-ass corp :D And I'm glad I can call myself part of them. |
