Ishukone-Raata Enforcement Directive [I-RED]: Ushra'Khan Standings
Since the sever of ties of trade, and communication with the Amarr Bloc the Directive has been looking into other avenues located in Gallente, Minmatar markets. As well re-establishing trade within the State between capsuleer groups.
On 06.20.113YC Diplomatic Envoy's from the Ishukone-Raata Enforcement Directive and Ushra'Khan met at a undisclosed system, where a mutual +5 standing was negotiated. While it is understood that Ishukone-Raata has rarely seen eye-to-eye with the freedom fighters of the republic. We have made a effort to strive for peaceful relations with willing trade partners. Showing again that such beneficial agreements can be obtained through respect, commitment, and professionalism.
"Ushra'Khan was a bitter enemy for years a enemy that we have come to respect. We have made the first step to extend our hand to the Matari people. There is no doubt in my mind that relations with groups like Ushra'Khan, and Electus Matari will help mend the mistakes of the past... a past not to be forgotten but forgiven." - John Revenent, Ishukone-Raata Executor.

I look foward to working alongside Unity for the greater good of our peoples.

Friendship with self described terrorists is hardly priceless. Then again this coming from the same lot that sold out their own state is not really a surprise. Enjoy your time with the Ushra'Khan dogs. I am sure if there is enough isk involved the foul stench they emanate can be overlooked. At least for those lacking in morality and decency.

Funny you should say that, i supose morality also comes under the umbrella of paying you bills, maybe your word would carry more weight if your organisation actualy paid its depts.
I almost feel we should build Unity a Titan to level the playing field...

It's perfectly understandable I-RED negotiating positive status as they need more enemies like they need more holes in their heads. However, do you really want to conduct trade with those likely to oppose the Caldari influence moving into Providence?

Any influence moving in under the CVA Holder Status will be told to set Ishukone-Raata KOS as we are hostile to CVA. So yes we wish to conduct trade with Ushra'Khan.

If goals can be reached without bloodshed if war brings no gain, other than for the weapons industry
Then it is just logical to attempt peace and collaboration.
May this be a sign for other caldari-matari base factions in a similar situation.
try something different, the common ground is often not as hard to reach, as one may think.

And yet you have no qualms stepping over old friendships to make way for new ones. I'm debating marking you as hostile John, as it seems you are taking quick steps towards inevitably becoming my enemy.

I am really surprised that the Empire and Kingdom loyalists are surprised that a progressive Caldari organization would align themselves with a people who, technologically, actually have something to offer.

This could go both ways.. What do you think you the Kingdom or Empire really have to offer the Caldari anymore? Times have changed. They have Provists now. Adaptability is the order of the day.
The Empire was never anything but a convenient ally that the Ethnics needed at the time. What do you have to offer now?
Look at Matari technology compared to Amarr technology? The Matari offer integrated split weapons systems, they excel at interdiction, hell they even have a better grasp on shield technology these days.
Not to mention the fact that the Ethnics FEEL oppressed by the Gallente. The relationship is almost organically natural.

My question was never about debating on what the Empire or the Kingdom have to offer to the Caldari - though it could be, knowing how your crippled economy was greatly helped by the Tash Murkon investments.
And for your comparison between Matari and Amarr technology, for flying both of them regularily, they fill different purposes. Much like Caldari tech or gallentean tech.
In any case, is that the official explanation of I-RED, or only yours, as I suppose it to be ? |

I decided to register a personal protest against the provision of clothing items through the "Noble Store" which I understand is an Amarrian corporation granted full monopoly of supply to capuleers via concord edict.
I consider it a pretty shocking development and one that makes me wonder if Aria Jenneth has had some points to make over the years after all.
Via our matari-themed Quarters we can manufacture and market advanced starships and equipment for profit but at the whim of concord we are now forced to buy our skirts and shoes soley from a protectionist monopoly owned by the Amarrian Empire. It appears our affairs are not yet our own and frankly something is going to need to burn.

Please let me rephrase :
