First off, i'm quite "new" now after a (5 year)long break from EVE.
Back then it was a pain in the lower backside to find a free Lab to research/copy a BP. Nowadays it's quite impossible i think.
So how i'm supposed to use the millions SP in "Science" i trained back then?
I'm sure i'm missing something...it can't be meant like that.
Please forgive my limited Skills at english...had no Time in Skillqueue to improve >L2

Simple.. get yourself into a corp, get corp standings up to 6-10 with one of the empire factions ( sending everyone with low standings towards the empire faction you want on vacation when you have some people with enough works, reinvite them afterwards )
Put up a POS in high sec somewhere. Install 10-20 mobile laboratories. Enjoy your private labs with more slots than you can fill, for both you and your corp.

For a constant production of copies in the end you will need a POS. Unless you find a very quiet region and are willing to transport bpc's all the time.
I've you need a lot of copying slots, remember to use advanced labs, they have 3 copy slots and a reduced time modifier.
In theory you could use public invention slots, so you could just get a small pos, do a ****load of copies, and take it down again when your finished (so you wont spend a full month worth on fuel.

The derth of open labslots in NPC stations is CCP's way of forcing you to setup your own POS Research Facilities.
There are a number of advantages to this as that the POS labs are more efficient than the NPC ones. As was posted above, it is rather easy to setup a POS in highsec and you don't need to move your BPO's from Tower to station as all BPO's can be locked down in corp hangers and still be researched or copied.
The only major issue is the cost of operating a POS. So if you are intending to go this route, make sure your business plan included the cover of costs for Tower operation. Going the T2 invention route is the most common and supposedly best option.
