We would dearly love to get our hands on the crash dumps that (should have) been generated. If you can dig them out and submit them in a bug report that would be supremely helpful!

Edited by: Hauler Darby on 21/06/2011 23:42:53 When this happens to me I get a popup with two options. I had been hitting the 'Close program' button and that . . . closed the program.
I finally tried the other button and that fixed the problem.
Remember, results may vary.

Ok just spent an hour trying to get to this crash dump and I give up, windows 7 is junk
%SystemRoot%\MEMORY.DMP where are you and how do I see you FFS
And I logged in again and used most new thingamabobs in the captains quarters, had EVE stop working again after about 15 min, was while I was standing near the pod on the gantry and was looking at the show info imbedded "Model" of my AF as I zoomed in / out / spun it.

Thats from the latest EVE crash, seems to happen mainly when viewing the "Picture" of an item in the item viewer, this one happened when I was looking at the new turret model of a Large Dual 25o TII Railgun.

Key word in the log: 'Laptop.' :)
10:1 his laptop can't pass a regular CPU stress test either (like OCCT); or stand the heat his mobile chipset generates under full load.

here's where mine are:
computer>local disk>users>*my_username*>appdata>local>crashdumps
some of these are hidden folders by default though, so they won't show up in the list- you have to type them in. ______ Tippia's analysis of NEX/Incarna |

Had a similar issue pre Incarna. Looking at events in the computer management interface showed display/desktop failures. I have an NVIDIA GTX295.
I removed the drivers (make sure you disable windows auto download), cleaned registry and tried to totally remove any trace of pre-existing nvidia driver software. Downloaded the latest NVIDIA driver, did a re-install of "DRIVER ONLY."
If I did a complete re-install of driver crashes would continue.
