It causes my computer to crash because of a graphic card issue. Can you disable incarna so i can play eve untill i fix my problem?

Uncheck the "Load Station Environnemen" in settings. I found this option 5 sec after launching the game, so could you.

Anyone have a workaround of any kind regarding this Shader 3 crap i cant even load my client now because it says i need the shader 3? was playing fine before the patch any help?

The workaround is to acquire a system that has a graphics card capable of Shader Model 3.0. Or you can mess around with a program called 3D-Analyze and try combinations of checkboxes until you find a combination that works for you. The second method is not supported by CCP or anyone and is used to provide methods to run programs that do not function on modern systems or emulate older systems.

3D Analyze
There are no specific ways to get a game to run if you do not understand what all the checkboxes mean. The main solution is to try combinations of them until the game works, there are a lot of them. People had it working with the Shader Model 1 drop, I do not know if it will be possible for the Shader Model 2 drop.

Yes ive found it thx, and it sorted my problem. Didnt think that was the "load station environment" thing though, because im pretty sure that tick box was there before incarna?!
Apparently you are not gonna be able to keep CQ disabled forever though which is somewhat dissapointing. Im here to fly internet spaceships, not date some scifi chick in a bar. I was willing to accept CQ as a nice feature but considering the performance issues relating to it, id rather have the option to keep it disabled and then enable it at my leisure, when i want/need it. I hope CCP will add some actual spaceship related content soon, now that the spacewalkers have been satisfied somewhat. This is not just a rant against CQ, i fully understand a lot of ppl will imerse themselves in it and i understand CCP's ambition to encompass everything in one scifi game. I just hope the CCP will be able to keep on evolving all aspects of the game so i wont loose interest in it :)
